    • Agree 100%, don't cheap out SFSTL!!!  All the main Valley's need Titan Track. Gut feeling tells me we will receive a coaster from SFA, probably Firebird. Also, I hope they install a Drop Tower where Excalibur stood.
    • Did you make the trip to cedar point or did you get grounded and the internet taken away?
    • Looking more and more likely that I will be missing out on Maxx Force 😕 Out of all the parks on this trip, Great America would probably be the easiest to get back to since it's in a major city with cheap flights. So if it's still closed next week I guess I'll have a reason to go back!
    • I agree that they have definitely put some time, effort and money into the park; as previously discussed just not so much on the ride front but on infrastructure. Not sexy but necessary and would lead you to believe there are plans to keep the park profitable and working well for the future. I don't think an RMC conversion of the Boss is likely now since they put the money into doing the titan track section, hopefully they add to that. IF we do get a major new attraction I think a small footprint coaster is much more likely. As I said I don't think they made the SDC/SFSTL Coaster Con pick because they know something new will be coming BUT if the park had plans they might be more motivated to have it ready to go by then. Clearly all speculation, maybe nothing will happen, time will tell.  P.S. - There is an ACE event on Sept 6 and a group ride on the carousel is in the printed itinerary. While those schedules are never concrete it does indicate the park has a fair amount of confidence that it will be operational by then. P.S.S - Shell bought out the company that originally put in the EV chargers so they are no longer free. Still totally worth it for those traveling from further away that need to charge while in the park. Locals no more free juice but you really didn't need it anyway, lol.
    • I really don't understand how we got to a point as a country that teens and such feel  its fun to go cause disruption, panic and fight and more so why its giant space like theme parks. I know most parks have to deal with it.   Good to see this ride getting good reviews.
    • We had a fantastic time. Thanks for asking.  I took a ton of photos for a TR. I just haven't gotten around to it, yet.
    • I am glad to hear you had a great first visit and were able to ride AlpenFury! I got my first rides on AlpenFury on Monday and thought it was insane! As for a chaperone policy, there is not one at the park. I wish there was one in place, as I too (as a regular), have seen many teens being disruptive and rowdy during multiple visits over the past three years. That behavior does kind of take away from the experience. Hopefully you're able to come back soon!
    • Thanks! EDIT: For what it's worth, I clicked around a little and it seems as though they're advertising all 40 parks for $99, but when you click the link, it takes you to one of those add-on all pass upgrades. Still, a decent price, and I hope other locations offer something like this. I know it varies from state to state.
    • What!? Really? Can you provide the source for this please? That seems very inexpensive.
    • ^Assuming the Chicago location follows the same operating procedures as the location opening in Las Vegas next month, there is no hard age limit though Universal recommends against bringing children younger than 13 years old.    https://www.universalhorrorunleashed.com
    • The 2026 Pass is looking to include all 40 parks and starting at $99
    • ^ Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for 2026 pass updates and will figure out what's best. Again, this is the first year in some time that I didn't bother renewing, so it'd nice to gain access to the remainder of 2025.
    • Quick little report from our visit on Saturday. As I said earlier in the thread this was my first every visit. We got SUPER lucky and the park announced on Thursday that Alpenfury would actually be open on Saturday. We had planned on visiting Friday to avoid such huge Saturday crowds but decided to change so we could get on Alpenfury, and that we did! We got to the park around 3pm after visiting some family in the Toronto area. By this point obviously Alpenfury had a huuuuuuge line. Heard reports of around 5 hours? My girlfriend has a disability pass so we waited in the ADA line and got on in about 30 minutes. WOW what a ride! I haven't been left speechless by many rides but Alpenfury did it. Absolutely bonkers crazy from start to finish. Even the first launch and airtime hill hit before all hell breaks loose. Top 10 potentially? Only rode it once so I'll have a better idea after I ride it some more next weekend.    Some other thoughts: -Minebuster retrack is great. Can't wait for them to do the whole thing -Wilde Beast was my 100th wooden coaster credit. It sucked.  -Behemoth... meh. -Leviathian is fantastic! Reminded me more of Millennium than it does the other B&M gigas. Great ride.  -Yukon Striker is also GREAT. Way smoother than Valravn. Great pacing. First drop seems to go forever.  -Lots of tweens and teens causing a ruckus. Is there no chaperone policy at this park? Saw multiple brutal bloody fights. There was also an incident at Leviathan at the end of the night where a weapon was allegedly seen and caused a panic. I will say though that Wonderland security was FANTASTIC and always very quick to the scene when there was an issue, and in large number.  -Last thought, wow this park is PRETTY. The vibe and look of the park is fantastic and every employee we encountered was very nice. Not quite Dollywood level but better than almost all regional parks. Easily one of my top parks now.    Here's some pictures for y'all:
    • That sounds amazing ! Quick question is it only for adults? I just want my family to go
