ECZenith
I was a couple days away from asking about the progress of this ride. I'm going to head over there as soon as they open it, haven't been to Canobie since Starblaster was new. (SHAME!) Thanks for the update! Keep us posted. You can never have enough Huss frisbees... Canobie Fan
Its a huss. And I cant wait for it to own SFNEs... Canobie always runs its rides far better then SFNE does
ECZenith
Yeah, that's why I want to give it a try even though there's one right over at SFNE, I just have this feeling it will run a good program, and I haven't been disappointed by a huss ride in recent memory. LOVE SFKK
are they removing Skater or moving it for the frisbee
apollo210
No, they put the Skater where the Paratroopers were and they sold the Paratroopers to Blue Diamond Park in Delaware. But yes, the Frisbee is going where to Skater was Originally.
Canobie Fan
At.. At first Skater was just going to be for last summer.. But the park held onto it. And then with Paratroopers acting up. The park just trash'd them and put skater where they were.
okinawaboy11
Another question Is it the Frisbee XL or just the regular. (XL has the seats facing outwards)
apollo210
It's just your regular frisbee, Canobie has a 80ft. hight restriction, so they had to go with regular.
PkiJake
What is the differnce between the Giant and XL. Also I heard Huss makes a bigger Giant Frisbee. -Jake
Canobie Fan
The XL is the same size as the stnd. But the ring is the same style as the bigger one. (outward)
mrceagle
The Frisbee The park is getting is a standard Frisbee similar to the one at SFNE and other SFI parks. The park looked into the Giant Model it's main structure would have been within 80 ft. the swing is beyond that but that's not against the height restrictions. Fire safty thing basically if it were to break down the ride simply falls back to the ground. anyways they looked into the XL large model but opted not to do to the price. It's in the 4 million range and it the park is going to spend that it will be on a coaster. So they opted for this one with the new entrance coming, a replacement for the Matterhorn, and depending on this year another ride next year. ECZenith
I'd imagine by the time they get all the parts in it will only take a couple of weeks to put together as long as the work site it prepped. I'll be there the day the thing opens. Mmmmmm... Huss...
