    • Engineered precut track is a high-precision, CNC-machined wooden roller coaster track developed by The Gravity Group. It uses pre-fabricated, vertically stacked wooden layers and specialized adhesive to create stronger, longer-lasting, and smoother-riding coasters than traditional hand-cut wood tracks. This technology enables faster retracking of aging wooden coasters.
    • This is great for the coast , sunshine, water and fun, it's what we had on the coast, pacific waterslides at Alex, black hole at Curramundi the fun has been taken away and this has been spoken about for many years, about time, let's just hope it's not a long process in getting it up and going
    • You can't get IP deals if you aren't trying. I suspect the CEO knows full well they won't get all of them but it would help if they can get at least one.
    • James, the new CEO was interviewed yesterday. Sounds like he is trying to keep both IP’s - Peanuts and WB/DC. Also info on dining plans might be released by the end of the week(if you have a SF meal plan and if they will work this season)
    • This is pretty much how I feel about all top tier coasters. For anyone who loses appreciation, I recommend riding less frequently. I have so much more appreciation and get an actual thrill experience out of riding one or two coasters at a park. The other 95% of my day is being with our five-year-old and having a blast screwing around or riding bullshit rides with her. My appreciation for MF revolves around the setting and pure sensation of speed. For me, not every ride needs a lot of forces. I love The Beast, and most of that is just high speed cruising through the woods. I oversaturated my life with roller coasters and parks at one point pre-kid, where I remember calling great rides like Valravn and Cheetah Hunt boring. I have probably averaged as few as 10-15 roller coaster rides a year, with the exception of my 40th CP birthday trip. I love enjoy them all at this point. Yet, none of them are as fun to me anymore as riding a junior roller coaster with Eve.
    • I thought Copperhead Strike was great! The POVs don't do it justice. Watching them I thought it was slow and lacked the "power" of Maverick or Fahrenheit (Hershey Park). But, the perfectly calculated speed does some really fun tricks. It holds you upside down perfectly in that first vertical loop, the turns are snappy but not violent, and pops of airtime in places I didn't expect. My wife and I loved that ride, and would like to see more like it in other parks.  Afterburn, for being built in 1999 also still runs great! It was very smooth for a B&M invert, and very strong g forces, especially in the underground section! We love a good invert, and this one was great.  Other than that, Thunder Striker was fine. It's a B&M hyper that does what it's supposed to do. Although, riding in the front you feel is hold you back as you start to descend every airtime hill. Middle to the back is a much more exciting ride.  I failed to mention, they have a nice collection of flat rides in their Aeronautica and Country Fair section. It was my first time riding an Zamperla AirRace (9/10) and and Top Scan (10/10). Such cool flats that look impressive and offer a cool ride experience. So, that was fun.  I hope the next time we visit they have a water ride (is the 2027 rumor true?). It needs one other than Snoopy.
    • What was the other Top tier coaster?  I like Fury over MF but i also never got all the hype of MF.
    • It was great! We rode it multiple times and each time in a different seat/row. The front is a windy tour-de-force! It doesn't let up and is such a fun ride. Further back and on the outside seat, WOW! Such pops of airtime on those turns, as well as amazing floater over many of the hills.  I know "Thoosies" always are battling Fury vs. Millennium Force. They are both great, and different from one another. As I was in the front row flying through the course at 90mph, I was grateful NOT to have a face full of bugs unlike MF. Haha
    • "Guys, I swear we are still the best even though we're demolishing rides, selling off parks, and closed one of our parks."
    • Um......Albatross? Anyway... What an awesome trip this turned out to be, for you! And - all - that - food! Great choices, I'd say.  🍽️
    • Keeping WB was always a pipe dream.    The only thing I could see is a targeted Loony Tunes-only license. And only because Cedar Flags might decide they want to use Peanuts as the sole kids IPs. Alternatively they make a deal to sell the Peanuts license to Enchanted. It truly doesn’t make sense for Cedar Flags to have both. That’s the part of the merger that’s always been a question mark IMO. It doesn’t make sense to have both.
    • I think they'd be just as likely to use it as leverage to drive up the cost of an EPR contract. If they cut ties with WB now, it may cost more to retheme the rides now but save them money in the long term. They're already going to have to retheme a ton of rides, so they might as well rip the Band-Aid off now. I don't foresee them keeping WB.
