    • With the latest video Kings island released today might be a chance the finally do something with the tomb raider building. Could just be a retheme to boo blasters back to Phantom Manor.
    • I cannot say why for certain the website makes these statements, but I believe it’s the problem of having to explain legacy parks and that the systems are not truly merged, and it will work at these parks, but not these parks.  It is easier to just give warnings even if they are complete garbage. But I can answer your question.  I purchased a new 2026 Kings Island pass, activated it as part of the purchase by uploading a picture.  Then drove to Cedar Point and used it there, before it was used at Kings Island.  The pass worked perfectly, as did the add-ons.  So yes my new pass from a legacy Cedar Fair park worked fine at other legacy Cedar Fair parks, without visiting the park it was purchased from, and the add-ons even worked.
    • I'm hoping for 2 slide complexes --> Dual-racing water coasters (like River Racers @ Kings Island) and mat racing (like Riptide Raceway @ Worlds of Fun).   Then the Lagoon with 5-7 kid slides like Bluegill Lagoon & Salamander Sliders like Kings Island.   Maybe an adult swim bar would be a nice touch too.  Wonder if they re-route the lazy river or even have one at all? The interesting thought would be how everything is configured.  Do they leave the side facing Excalibur open for expansion, like for a 2nd gate/parking lot like a similar plan they had a decade ago... Superior Shores does have a nice touch to it!
    • my  Day 2 At The Fair  Aug.19 My second day at the PNE was a really simple one.  Stick to the West end (the 'front of') of the Fair, check in with "For The Love of Drag" at the old Rollerland building, for now called the Roadhouse Bar & Patio;  get another corn dog; and check out "specific stuff" at the Market. And that was it for this visit! First off, here's the info. flyer for the PNE. The schedule of shows and events on one side of it... And the (somewhat) easy to read map. A LOT of stuff there. Who's playing, and when, at the main stage in the Fair. The main gate to the Fair. Or the Red Gate as it's known on the map. But before I checked out The Market in the old Forum building... .....And BC Transit's display. I already use transit so I didn't bother to see "what's new" there..... ... I went through this. I always do, every PNE. And hardly anyone else visits, I find. It's a small Japanese-designed garden. The old Garden Auditorium is in back, there. With a gentle 'river and waterfall' in back. What's called a "Teahouse"here. A small path leading up to the water feature. The Garden Auditorium, un-used. Which is a shame, since in previous pre-Covid years, they would put a totally themed display in it. Early displays included Game of Thrones (before Season 2 started up); Hockey and it's history in Canada; The Beatles and their history; and a Dungeon & Dragons display one year. Wish they would start them up again. <sad> Some of the shopping stalls found all over this part of the Fair. And if you have a real compliment and/or complaint. The PNE Administration is here, onsite. Busy, busy. One of the PNE's giant Adirondack chairs. Great for relaxing on and for a good photo op. Many displays (and sales stalls) of Indigenous peoples always here. This setup was called "Canoecultures". And a canoe here, in it's creation process. Today's corn dog came from Chicky's Chicken & Fries stall. No pic of it, though. I ate it up before taking a photo of it. But it was good! Then I headed to the "For The Love of Drag" show. A good sized crowd for this first show of the day, there. The stage looked great. And the show was themed to the Circus. Opening number. What lies, underneath. I thought she was going to swallow it. But no such luck, lol. The tallest performer in the show. Excellent number she did. Total coverup ... ...of this. Even the "crystal ball" on top, glowed in many colours.  That was cool to see. On the (sort of) high wire act. After the reveal. Love how her tail just kept sticking out, and swinging around. Nice kitty. This was a really fun number. And much more than a clown, we found out. Will get more pix of this one, when David and I visit the show next week.  The whole cast for the bows. I love the way the PNE supports everyone, everywhere. Year after year. After the show, I headed back to the Market.  And entered through...um .... the butt end of the building. To find this. West Family Fudge is a mainstay of every PNE. And now it's the only place to get fudge as the spot in Playland (What The Fudge) doesn't sell it any more. Which is sad. They used to have a great selection, there. Got myself the apple with the crushed peanuts all over, in the middle. And they had a pretty good deal on the fudge slices, depending on how many you buy. I bought three. Lemon blueberry; Mango Chili; and French Vanilla. All good and great to end today's visit, with.
    • the Texas parks are year round, and I'm right in the middle of the two of them.  and tho Fiesta is my "home" park, we hit up SFOT a few times a year as well.  and now that Schlitterbahnn is included? (and I go to SFOG every year for an Atlanta visit for Dragon*con, and every couple of years I visit St. Louis (and meet up with TeacherKim), so go there too). so for me?  no brainer.
    • If i knew i would get say 10 visit a year then i would really think about it. Season passes, I'm sure you get people who have no clue and money doesn't matter who just check all the boxes and use it 2 times.
    • No worries...just trying to make sure you don't get bitten by this company's inability to clearly communicate to its customers LOL. As for the all-season, all-park, I know I had it for a few years straight, both before and after COVID (in 2020 it was the the only way to get FL at a bunch of parks period), but I'm a single person.  You're right that I can't see families going for it.
    • Thanks for all that Amy.  I would be interested in seeing the numbers over people who purchased the all-Season Fast lane Plus. Hard to see a Family of 4 Forking out $4000 for that.
    • Fast lane is a must here. Even yesterday with rain all day the lines for the major coasters were 1-2 hours. I suggest hit alpen Fury early as the fast lane was still 30-45 minutes yesterday and on monday it was over a hour with fast lane.
    • That's great to hear! It'll be my first ever visit to this park tomorrow and my anticipation is running quite high. Already budgeted to get fastlane passes as well after all the reports of long lines. I'll report back as well.
    • On another note, it looks like they've raised the prices for the "All Season Haunted Attraction (Express) Pass" at many of the parks, some parks seeing two price increases within a day.  Guess they realized that charging just slightly more than a one-day pass wasn't a smart move.  I'm honestly amazed that the All-Season, All-Park Fast Lane Plus is still only $1,000....it's been that price for like 5 years or more now.
    • I think Skyline just doesn’t have much manufacturing capacity. Certainly much lower than RMC and Gravity Group - both of which can handle much larger sections in a single offseason.
    • Believe what you want.  Just trying to help you out and let you know what is actually happening at the parks.
    • I'm not an expert on this, but if I had to guess, it's probably because it takes a long time to manufacture and transport. It's easier to to do smaller sections than the whole ride at once, allows a park to open the ride next season instead of a prolonged shutdown   I could be way off on that thought though, so take that with a grain of salt.
