2019 was a very big travel year for me. I did a Mid-Atlantic trip (SFA, KD, Caro, SFOG), a NorCal trip (SFDK and CGA), and a Texas trip (SFOT and SFFT) in addition to my regular visits to SoCal and Utah. Therefore, I am anticipating a very light 2020.

Definitely visiting (basically my 3 home parks):

Knott's Berry Farm

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Lagoon

Somewhat possible:

Silverwood (never been)

Glenwood Caverns (never been)

Currently a pipe dream, but not completely impossible:

Busch Gardens Williamsburg (never been)

Hersheypark (haven't been since 2016)

Haha, somebody beat me to it! This is a year where everything's really up in the air.

Definitely:

Silver Dollar City

Maybe:

Universal Studios Florida

SeaWorld Orlando

Busch Gardens Tampa

Fun Spot

Outside Chance of Happening:

Disney World (will probably split off into its own trip in 2021)

Disneyland/Magic Mountain/Knott's (if WCB happens and the stars align that I can go)

Itll be hard to top last year, which included SF Darien Lake, Waldameer, Cedar Point, Kings Island, BGW, Water Country and Hershey.

Definite:

Disney World

SF Darien Lake

Hopeful:

Cedar Point

Kings Island

Holiday World

SF Great Adventure

SF America

Long shot:

Kings Dominion

Carowinds

A lot depends on if were passing through the area on our way to something else. We have family in Nashville so we pass KI on the way, and its not far from HW. I might have work training near SFA. SFGAdv and CP would be trips for those places alone.

I thought 2019 was a record year for me and the number of parks I visited, but 2020 is about to blow that out of the water threefold.

Happening:

Knott's Berry Farm (next week)

Manhattan Express (I'm going to ride this turd because it's the last Togo in NA and honestly I regret not riding it last year.)

Adventure Dome

SDC

King's Island

Kennywood

King's Dominion (will become my new home park for the summer)

Six Flags Great Adventure

American Dream

Hershey Park

Knoebels

Worlds of Fun

SFStL

Maybe:

Six Flags Magic Mountain (closer to a long shot just because it's so far from where I'll be staying)

Stratosphere (if I don't go to Adventure Dome)

Holiday World

Kentucky Kingdom

Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Dorney Park (out of the way, but Demon drop tho <3)

Busch Gardens Tampa

Six Flags America (will be pretty close to me, but I'm not sure if I even want to waste my time revisiting this crap hole)

Unlikely:

Darien Lake

Canada's Wonderland

BGW might be simply too expensive after all these other parks, which is a shame since both Invadr and Pantheon (which is looking more OMFG every day, btw) will be new for me and that it's one of my favorite parks, ever. If I have the chance to go back to BGW, I'd also like to revisit Splash Country USA, but that means more $$$. And despite being close to KD (which will be a day trip), I will NOT be close to BGW, and it will necessitate a whole weekend just to go.

Desperado is being elusive again, as always. Last year I passed by it twice just weeks before it reopened, and this year I will be passing by it twice again - except that it's only open on weekends - and I will be passing it both times during the week! I really want to get on this thing while it's still around. I want to ride all the remaining Arrow hypers while I can, and I fear Desperado's days are numbered.

This past year was good by my standards

Cedar Point

Morey's Piers

Kings Dominion

BGW

Great Adventure

SFNE

Dollywood

This year I hope to get to SFMM, Knott's, Disneyland, Lagoon, and BGT for the first time. Closer to home, on top of many days at SFNE and Great Adventure, I would like to get back to Lake Compounce and Canobie for the first time in a while as well as maybe finally check out Great Escape and Funtown/Splashtown for the first time.

This is going to be a year for us "where the wind blows" No specific plans as to where, but where has the best flight prices and deals. We did this this past year and had a blast discovering new places. A lot of that was due to Frontier Airlines and their silly cheap $16 flights. Got to do Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Carowinds, Six Flags Georgia to name a few, all on the cheap and unplanned. In the past, we have had destinations planned. This year, the surprise of Wherever, Whenever, sounds really good. A year of adventure.

Definite:

Kennywood

Cedar Point

King's Island

Carowinds (when I do my layover in Charlotte)

SFGAdv

Hershey

Thinking of doing KD and BGW on my way up and down

Busch Gardens Tampa

Sea World Orlando

Dollywood (new park)

Possible:

SF Great America, KBF, Texas Parks. All would be new, depends where I take my big vaca this year.

Will be 3rd year of serious coaster travelling. Added 10-12 new parks and over 75 new creds these last 3 years, tons of quality too. Glad to keep it up, thanks in part to this site!

Universal Studios and Fun Spot Kissimmee next month. Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Michigan's Adventure at various points in the summer. I've got plenty of ideas - I always do - but until the trips are booked, they're just that. I got to 1000 coasters last year, and almost everything left around me (like as in hundreds of miles in any direction) are kiddie coasters and I'm not that motivated to kill myself for that stuff right now.

It's looking like we'll be heading to PA for Kennywood, Hershey, and Knoebels which I'm super excited for. I've been wanting to go to Knoebels for so long, and it's looking like it will finally happen!

I also might stop in at some of the small parks around me that I haven't gotten to yet, like Little Amerricka and Arnold's Park just for quick day trips.

"Home" parks: Kings Dominion, Six Flags America, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I've got two trips planned: NYC (Coney Island, Nick Universe, Great Adventure) and Florida (Busch Gardens Tampa, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal, the Fun Spots?).

If I can drive to Dorney for a day trip, I can drive to Hershey for a day trip too.

I have some American Airlines reward miles I want to use up. I think I'll return to Kings Island (also to make my Cedar Fair Platinum still worth it).
