JJ728 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 After reading these california prices, I don't feel to bad It's basically impossible to find anything under $4 right now... Some places, especially the cities, are encroaching on $4.75!
GriffyTiffy Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 $4.45 in Chicago.... even though I don't drive, it's still freaky!
Solid Gold Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I just drove 1100 miles from Knoxville to Tallahassee, FL and back. Â Eff.
kumba830 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I was just reading some of the old post in this tread. It's hilarious to hear people complaining about gas being around $2.30 compaired to what we have now.
deathbydinn Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I haven't seen anything over $4 per gallon around my house yet, very close to it though at about $3.98..doesn't help when the only car we can drive long distances is a guzzler!
skitt2010 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 thank all your lucky stars that youre not here in the UK with me...  to fill my car with diesel it costs me about £65 ($100)...  because i do a 100mile round trip to work i use all of that in 5 days... meaning i fill up 6 times a month...  who else on here spends more than $600 a month on fuel?
B-RadG Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Just filled up on 87 for $3.31. Cheapest diesel I've seen is $3.48.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 We just saw $4.29 in Truckee driving home today, but generally I think it's between $3.79 and $3.89 around here.
805Andrew Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 ^ When I do trips to Tahoe I fill up in the Sacramento area or before and if I have to put gas around Tahoe I do so in Incline Village or South Lake Tahoe which are less expensive then Truckee or Tahoe City. Â Gas prices in my town of Atascadero, CA are currrently $3.939 for 87 Unleaded at the cheapest stations (Circle K and ARCO). When I filled up my Chevy Tahoe a few weeks ago it was $3.719 at a Shell in my town and I put $80 to fill my tank. Gas shot up $0.22 a gallon in a few weeks. My next car is going to be a lot more fuel efficient (I might even go hybrid).
megalyte Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 In Fresno two weeks ago, gas got as high as $4.69 for regular, now it's dropped to around $4.19.
Jew Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 $4.21 is the cheapest around my house in Sherman Oaks. Got to love California and their special blends of gas.
andybarnes84 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I'll just let you know that gas in the UK is currently around $11 per gallon (US), which is why I and many others are forced into driving very, very small cars. I can't believe just how much gas prices vary from state to state, the most difference you'll get in the UK is 10 cents or so unless you are somewhere very remote.
Zem Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 During our Thanksgiving trip to Austin we picked up some regular gas for $2.99 in Brenham TX. Typically it is the low to mid $3 range here in Houston but you can get good deals if you know where to look.
gisco Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Just paid $3.89 for premium. Got to love California. I shouldn't complain, It still is half the price I paid in September when I was in Germany.
no_brain_er Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 ^ Radiating jealousy. Filled up for $3.19/gallon on Monday. Â Can I just say that QuikTrip is easily the best gas station chain out there? I've never had a bad QT experience.
thrillrideseeker Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Just filled up today, and gas was $3.05 a gallon here in Houston. ~Matt
