805Andrew
^ When I do trips to Tahoe I fill up in the Sacramento area or before and if I have to put gas around Tahoe I do so in Incline Village or South Lake Tahoe which are less expensive then Truckee or Tahoe City. Â Gas prices in my town of Atascadero, CA are currrently $3.939 for 87 Unleaded at the cheapest stations (Circle K and ARCO). When I filled up my Chevy Tahoe a few weeks ago it was $3.719 at a Shell in my town and I put $80 to fill my tank. Gas shot up $0.22 a gallon in a few weeks. My next car is going to be a lot more fuel efficient (I might even go hybrid).

Jew
$4.21 is the cheapest around my house in Sherman Oaks. Got to love California and their special blends of gas.
andybarnes84
I'll just let you know that gas in the UK is currently around $11 per gallon (US), which is why I and many others are forced into driving very, very small cars. I can't believe just how much gas prices vary from state to state, the most difference you'll get in the UK is 10 cents or so unless you are somewhere very remote. Zem
During our Thanksgiving trip to Austin we picked up some regular gas for $2.99 in Brenham TX. Typically it is the low to mid $3 range here in Houston but you can get good deals if you know where to look.
gisco
Just paid $3.89 for premium. Got to love California. I shouldn't complain, It still is half the price I paid in September when I was in Germany.
