Where Are You Going in 2019?

Postby ytterbiumanalyst » Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:29 am

It's that time again! Another season is coming to a close, and maybe you're going to a holiday event but most of us are looking to next year now. What are your plans?

This will be a big year for us:

Silver Dollar City
Six Flags St. Louis

Belmont Park
Disney California Adventure
Knott's Berry Farm
Morgan's Wonderland
Sea World San Antonio
Sea World San Diego
Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Six Flags Magic Mountain
Six Flags over Texas

Frontier City
Indiana Beach
Legoland California
Six Flags Great America
Worlds of Fun

"Excuse me, miss, may I pound my large rooster into your donkey?"

Hey, I get to do one of these this time! Putting aside Walt Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando...

  • Djurs Sommerland (first time)
  • Farup Sommerland (first time)
  • Grona Lund (first time)
  • Liseberg (first time)
  • Tivoli Gardens (first time)
  • Busch Gardens Tampa
  • Knoebels

  • Bakken (first time)
  • Carowinds (first time)
  • Dollywood
  • Kennywood
  • Kolmarden (first time)
  • Six Flags Great Adventure

I'm planning a week-long Scandi trip for myself next year. I also have a visit back home to Pennsylvania in the Spring and I'm hoping to tack on a day at Kennywood or Six Flags Great Adventure. Finally, if my finances are still okay I'll be planning on checking out Wildwood Grove, Lightning Rod, Copperhead Strike and Fury 325 on a deep south weekend in the autumn.

Definitely hitting up Cedar Point again for our yearly vacation. We usually do at least 3 days at CP (with some beach/Shores time), and a day on one of the islands (either PIB or KI) in the summer.

Other than Cedar Point, we are going to try to get to Canada's Wonderland, which will be a first for us. That seems like it would work on the same trip as CP, probably leave from Pittsburgh to CW and then from CW to CP.

I would assume we will hit up Kennywood to check out Steel Curtain at some point.

She turned me into a donkey! I got better...
