  1. Yes, it’s been very slow, on chrome, safari and on mobile. It take a along time to sign in as well.
  2. It is not, the one that was at MGM Grand Adventures was a traveling fair model, while the one at Adventuredome is a permanent park model.
  3. NebulaZ quietly opened at Adventuredome. Fun ride and a nice addition to the park. I don’t normally like spin and pukes but this ride was a lot of fun with bits of floater air. Visually this ride is stunning to look at!
  4. Yeah the lift, upper trough and pre-drop are still in place.
  5. Made a quick lap through The Adventuredome and the NebulaZ is fully built. Enjoy the photos below! It’ll be a nice addition to the park! This is the bottom of Rim Runner’s lift
  6. Nothing that the park has officially announced. I also forgot to share, I freaked out my friends on the ferris wheel, they had no idea the gondolas spin like teacups!
  7. We decided to take a quick drive (6 hours) from Vegas up to Lagoon, just north of Salt Lake City this past weekend. We had to get a haunt in this year. Even though the park was busy and mask rules are only enforced in queue and in mazes, I never felt uncomfortable as people pretty much kept their distance. Overall we had a really enjoyable visit to Lagoon. This park is very well ran, operations are smooth and queues keep moving constantly. They were loading all rows on all rides, hand sanitizer before and after each ride and before and after all haunted mazes. We have arrived for Frightmares! Happy to experience a theme park haunt this weird year! Employees carrying “Please Social Distance” signs were all over the park and enforcing mask wearing and distancing in the queues I like the skyline of this park! Roller Coaster celebrates 99 years this year! New hotness being built on the northeast corner of the park! I forgot how good Cannibal is! Super fun and smooth! I don’t normally like Ferris wheels, but this one is fun, you can spin your gondola like a tea cup! Cannibal’s station and a cameo of a couple Big Ass Fans! I’m really looking forward to this new coaster! Samurai was running, it runs a pretty weak cycle but it’s still fun! I approve of any park with a sky ride! Nice way to get across the park and get off your feet for a few minutes You can see social distance markers for the shows later in the evening The Wave Swinger is missing it’s top from the storm damage a few weeks ago Colossus, what a great ride!! The rides here are operated well and efficiently. All lines kept moving. Love the Flyers here Cannibal’s first drop is fantastic! All rows were being loaded on all rides Two trains, one photo This was the only part of the park that felt congested to me This ride was missing it’s roof from the storm damage too The Biergarten was amazing, if you visit you must have a meal here! Joey highly recommended getting a Beaver Tail and he was right! They were delicious! Oreo Cheesecake Hey! This Shake Shack still has Peanut Butter! Roller Coaster’s new trains and retracking made this such a smooth and fun ride!!! Denied a ride on Jet Star 2 For $20 you can skip the line for 7 of the mazes, completely worth it as they have to socially distance groups in the mazes Super busy for the mazes, general lines were over an hour, but with Time Warp, we didn’t wait over 15 minutes I felt that they did a great job with their haunt, the scare actors wearing masks made it harder to see them, so some of the scares were really really good We ended the night with a couple of walk on rides on Colossus Thanks Lagoon for a great visit!
  8. Thanks for sharing!! Those meatballs looked delicious!!! I miss Busch Gardens!
  9. Last weekend I decided to take a lap around the Adventuredome. The unannounced new ride (the model is a Zamperla NebulaZ) is now vertical and it looks like the ride’s queue will go through part of the trough of the old chute the chutes ride, Rim Runner. Neon Nights is still going on, on weekends, they shut off all of the parks general lighting and play up beat party music. The park isn’t very busy, but actually comfortable and for the most part people are social distancing and doing their part. Canyon Blaster is running really well and so is El Loco. I did notice a pricing change and that individual ride tickets are no longer available, the only thing available for sale is All Day Wristbands.
  10. Has anyone been out to Lagoon recently? I am thinking of going with a couple of friends this weekend to check out Frightmares since it's really the only haunt actually running. Just wondering how crowds are and what the overall experience has been.
  11. Everything is running except Miner Mike, the park will be closed from 9/14-9/17 and 9/28-10/1
  12. Agreed!!!! We spent 2 days at the park and had a great time, still didn't ride everything because of the weather, but for what it was worth, we had a great visit with the proper expectations in place and still getting to ride Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, Top Thrill Dragster and Maverick . Cedar Point, by far, had the best social distancing and enforcement of masks, and people generally distancing themselves. My best visits this year with compliance and just feeling safe at the parks was at Cedar Point and Universal Orlando (WDW was still closed when I went to Orlando).
  13. Thanks for sharing your report! Glad to see you guys had a great time!!!
  14. A new ride has appeared on site at The Adventuredome. From the looks of it, it looks to be a Zamperla NebulaZ!Nothing was announced by the park, but the ride is clearly visible in public view. If you are wondering what location the ride is being built at, it is being placed where the old lower reservoir for Rim Runner was, the right turn before the lift hill. Recently, it was used as a roller skating rink. The location of the ride, you can see the foundation is completed and the center hub is on its side. Ride arms sitting just outside of the park. Seats sitting just outside of the park. The center hub of the ride awaiting installation. From Zamperla's website of a NebulaZ in operation. Seats sitting just outside of the park.
  15. Love the Loch Ness Monster hat! Thanks for sharing!!! Am I the only one that wishes more parks had Screamin' Swings? I find them very underrated and a ton of fun!
  16. Disappointing to hear this, mainly because the park has had time to learn from other parks that have recently opened in the US before them. I hope this changes on your next visit, and your next visit will be better!
  17. Reservation requests started this morning, was super easy to complete. Just need to have your barcode numbers handy for your Passholder ID Number, Fun Card Number or Ticket Barcodes ready for validation though their system. Excited to get down to Orlando later this month.

  21. Hey everyone! Thinking about making a trip this Friday to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. Will anyone be up in the area and possibly interested in meeting up?
  22. Oh Carnival Vista, more negative media for this vessel. Now, Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas had a propulsion issue with one of its three Azipods, but was able to sail until its next scheduled Dry Dock. Unfortunately this same issue has hit Allure twice in the past several years, there was even a documentary on the fix of the Azipod. The problem with Carnival Vista is that it only has two Azipods while Allure of the Seas has three. I bet that having one down on Carnival Vista caused enough issues that they had to cancel sailings to fix it asap. We were on Allure with one of the three down, and while it kept the ship from traveling at max speed, there was also a noticeable wobble at the stern of the ship. Nothing terrible, but it was noticeable. When I sailed on Allure 2 years later, all three were working and the ship sailed much smoother. Below is the power outage from today. https://www.chron.com/business/bizfeed/article/Carnival-Vista-which-sets-sail-from-Galveston-14069733.php The Carnival Vista cruise ship, which sets sail from Galveston, lost power at sea just days before it's scheduled to be taken out of service for repairs. The ship temporarily lost some power from midship to the forward section of the vessel on Tuesday evening, according to a Facebook post from Carnival Cruise Line brand ambassador John Heald. The loss of power meant no lighting in the affected portion of the ship. Elevators and air-conditioning systems weren't working, either. Nobody was trapped in the elevators. This news comes just days before the Carnival Vista will be taken out of service for 17 days due to "an issue affecting its maximum cruising speed." The ship maintained navigation control during the power loss, and some areas such as the Punchliner comedy club in the aft of the ship remained unaffected. "The engineers are working very hard to restore full power and of course the captain, Matt and myself are making constant announcements to keep everybody informed and the mood around the ship is one of understanding," Heald said in his Facebook post. Follow-up posts indicated that the ship continued on its normal set course, that engineers slowly restored the power and that people were even dancing on the tables in the aft dining room. Carnival said the temporary issue was quickly resolved and that the ship continued on without any changes to its itinerary. And on Wednesday morning, Heald gave one final update before continuing his posts about food and a guest's service dog. "After last night's adventures the guests are waking to beautiful sunshine and a perfect day at sea," he said in the Facebook post. "I want to thank all the guests here who kept calm as the engineers restored the lights that had gone off in parts of the ship, they were all brilliant. And the crew, well they were as they always are, dedicated, professional and kept the fun going."
  23. I must have been lucky the day I went, I rode Golijavu several times last fall and really enjoyed it! I do miss it being tucked in the corner of SFMM.
