  1. I always wished that the camera would be at the launch, I’m sure those would be the most priceless photos!
  2. I’m not sure, it’s been SBNO forever but I can’t recall when it was removed. Really is a shame! I’ve been flying to California so much this was my first drive in a couple of years.
  3. The website has been updated and Desperado is open 5 days a week. When I drove past Buffalo Bill’s over the weekend, Turbo Drop has been dismantled. Wonder what happened to it or if it was scrapped. That version was the prototype, sad to see it gone as it was one of the most forceful!!
  4. Again, this guy is clueless, let’s go back to a few amazing events that I’ve had the privilege to attend, Gatekeeper Media day, Tatsu Media Day, X2 Media Day, just to name a few, yes you’re going to wait, we are guests and we go on their schedule. We are there to help spread the news about new hotness and THE FUN! The whole point of it is to have fun, it’s a privilege to be there and to be a part of any of these events. If you’re going to complain, just go to the park and be a normal guest. And I’m sorry, we are all attached to our smart devices, read your damn email, you have NO RIGHT to complain at all. Everyone did their due diligence and went above and beyond to accommodate. Be appreciative and humble!
  5. This is so infuriating, going to many events, things happen and things get canceled. How dare anyone complain about an invite to a complimentary event. To me it’s right along the lines of complaining about where your seats are in a theatre for a show when you got complimentary tickets.
  6. So happy to have this on MAC finally! Thank you!!!
  7. I beg to differ on this statement, if a park wants to do it and profitable for RMC, why wouldn't they want to do it? It would be another coaster under RMC's belt for parts and ongoing maintenance, another revenue stream, no?
  8. I love going to parks on grand opening days/weekends of new attractions, while everyone is waiting for the new ride, the rest of the park is much more enjoyable!!! But I agree, no need for bragging rights to be "one of the first" to ride, I'm just happy the rides exist and I just want to have fun!
  9. That is absolutely insane! I would definitely give it a go, the views look amazing!
  10. The coverage today was absolutely amazing! I am glad that Steel Vengeance is living up to the hype. I remember the first two coasters I followed getting built was Millennium Force and Goliath at SFMM. Watching the transformation from Mean Streak to Steel Vengeance was incredible as well. It was entertaining watching this come to life through TPR and Tony Clark. Thanks all, cannot wait to get out there to ride!
  11. Thanks for all of the coverage today, it made today awesome! And today was full of errands! Cannot wait to check this ride out!
  12. Whenever I think of an SLC, it reminds me of this video, listen to the rider's reaction at the end of the ride when the train hits the brakes. There is the biggest sigh of relief from the riders, its hilarious!!
  13. Just took a glace at the webcams tonight, both Hangtime and Xcelerator are cycling. Xcelerator looks to be testing two train operations, its been train after train after train, but hard to tell.
  14. Kinda fun watching the webcams right now, they are multi train testing Hangtime right now.
  15. The discussions about trims cracks me up, this is a prototype ride and tweaks and adjustments are bound to happen. I just can't wait to ride!! At the end of the day, during testing, especially initial test runs, they put the wheels that will have the least resistance to ensure the train will make it around the track. Many many many modifications will be made until its safe for us to ride.
  16. It always amazed me on how simple the old Arrow coaster control panels are. No digital readout screen, just status lights.
  17. ^^ Awesome I am glad that you had a great trip, I agree that ops at Adventuredome are great and they get people through on those rides, even on the busiest day, your wait times are never bad. As far as The Big Apple Coaster, you got on it just after it reopened from its annual maintenance, it is the best time to ride it, and it's amazing what a little layer of fresh paint can do to a ride (and re-tracked sections)!
  18. Bread makes you fat?! All good!
  19. So awesome! Thanks for sharing and I too love the surfboard headrests!!
  20. Oh Carnival.... there's some really klassy videos of the violence online too...
  21. Great video! I love how the first drop catches them by surprise! It may look small but it packs a punch!
  22. Here's a rare sight, two train operations at Canyon Blaster at Adventuredome, insanely fast dispatch times to prevent stacking. Slamming into the final brake run/transfer table is not fun, they do an amazing job with 27 second dispatches.
  23. ^ Desperado has a status of SBNO since December. Haven't heard as to why yet.
  24. May is a great time to go, just avoid the front row on the rides, gotta love muffleheads...
