805Andrew
I'm surprised the city of Kissimmee is requiring them to wear masks and the city of Orlando isn't. I thought it would be the other way around.

It's not a city thing, it's a county thing. Osceola County is enforcing required face masks in public for everyone, Orange County is not. It doesn't make it any less peculiar. Canobie Coaster
I just saw a picture of it. This looks a bit more obvious than the Topper Track RMC uses, but I'm interested to see how it rides!
thrillseeker4552
Nerdy thought, but I wonder if they will keep steel wheels on the train. If so, this thing is gonna ROAR. I also wonder if it's the whole coaster or just portions of the track. This will be interesting to follow!

Honestly looks more like their I-box/Iron Horse track to me since the entire beam/rail is made out of steel. I really look forward to see where this takes GCI, the more competition for RMC the better. Intamin, B&M and Vekoma are already taking design elements from Alan Schilke, curious to see if GCI will follow the lead also.

I suppose, however, that inspiration always has to come from somewhere. Intamin inspired Alan, Alan Inspires Intamin designers. In the end, it benefits the industry as a whole. Especially us enthusiasts; the more, the merrier when it comes to extreme rides.
tndank
Also, in case anyone wants to know, Fun Stop expects White Lightning to be open Thursday. It's not a full re-track, just some tests.
thepoint4life23
I am excited to see what comes from this. I thought he ride rode well, and was a lot of fun when i road it last. Might of been 2 years ago.

thrillseeker4552
I can't wait to see hardcore enthusiasts start debating whether this is now a steel coaster or not. They should keep it half and half!

abovethesink
White Lightning didn't need this, but it is fun to see them experiment. It isn't like it was some amazing credit I don't ever want to see touched. It was a good, but not great ride in my two rides last October. Mine Blower, despite being the better ride with that awesome layout, could use something like this given how rough it has been. But obviously it isn't a GCI, so that is less feasible. Still, if they want to proof of concept the idea for coasters beyond their own woodies, just drive down the road!
abovethesink
Also, I would be doing the world a disservice if I forgot to add how amazing the Go-Karts are at these parks, especially the Kissimmee location. I could have ridden them after dark forever. The racing got intense and my god those stacked tracks are pretty nuts. There was literally light air time on a couple of them. The Orlando tracks were good too and I thought they were great until I got to Kissimmee, so I recommend doing the parks in that order. Mine Blower is the main event for the coasters too. Honestly, we did SeaWorld, BGT, and both Universals along with the two Fun Spots and while those places were great as always, I think the most fun I might have had on the whole trip was on those go karts. Do not just go for the credits and miss them, especially after dark. They are included in the normal ride all day wrist band too.

Hilltopper39
FYI Fun Spot is having a sale this Saturday for $23 tickets, limit of 10 per person. If anyone has a trip to Orlando scheduled this summer/fall might be worth grabbing a couple passes. I'm not this biggest fan of Fun Spot but for $23 it's worth it's worth it for a few hours of fun.
