I guess it wasn't answered before any idea how busy this Friday will be? I checked wait times on friday and was pretty low but knowing this is a Holiday wasnt sure how busy the park could get Would spend most my time around the kids rides but would love to get on copperhead streak and fury if the line isn't to bad. . -
This is cool and all but I just wonder how popular something like this will be say 3 years down the road. I know they can change the theme and all just wonder what 5 year from opening profit and visitors will looks like

I was never sure if the lawyers said you have to take it down or change it or if they could of just change the line and upgraded trains and just kept it how it was. The ride system in a way is pretty simple and a lot of swing lunch/multi lunch coaster operate with out much down time each day. I have no idea what is going on it right now but the train felt like it was trying to shake its self to death. Could be more bracing on the wheels is sending the vibrations upward to the car along with the track dampers. You would think when they had 6 to 8 months + the year before it they could of got those right. I get sensors act up but again you had over a year to get everything inline and working right. Is this a case of yea we can build it then you realize you might be under qualified for the job. I hope it stays as it is fun a lot of people like it, but its like they tried to make it more reliable and somehow right now is worse then the last few season TT1 was open. -

I Road TT2 on Saturday. Broke down 4 times in a row. One train went then broke cycle all 3 trains. Again run a train or 2 then cycle them. I found it funny that they have a auto spiral stating that the rides is exercising machinal issues and also one stating that the ride will be working again. Its like they knew it was gonna be down a lot. For the ride, I mean its fun. The first lunch seems to slow for how much lunch track you have your kind of just cruising down the track. Backwards at 100MPH is fun then going up that spike is great your just kind of floating till you starting going towards the forward lunch . I was in the back row and you do just get throw over the Hill and its great. Bad not sure if it was just the seat or the train i was on. This think shook so bad. Not like coaster rattle but like to flat tires going done the free way. Really took away from the ride. I was just trying to lean forward so as much of my back and was not touching the seat. I wanted to get a 2nd ride but the wait was just to long for me to take a 2-3 hour wait away from the Family. The Locker metal detectors process is a bigger mess then Steel Vengeance. Not sure how to fix that but that's like a 20 min wait before your even in the line. Zamp really f this thing up. I am hoping to get a ride or two more on it last this summer but I'm also not even sure if this thing will make it a 2nd year. I was a big support of just give it time it will be epic but now I'm just like what is happening. How is it so wrong. -

This wont make sense to many people but I am just looking at TT2 now as a high performance race car. If you want to go fast or do cool things you just know things will break. On a race car a motor might blow, suspension might go out you kind of don't want it to happen but know it will at some point. you rebuild and repeat. Like most roller coaster track parts get welded. TT2 might just have times that it closes for a few days to repair/ a part weld a crack and they might have replace said support pole ever year ever other year. They just become wear items just like the old cable was. -

You should just pay to Charity to get your ride in. I wouldn't think crowds would be that much busser due to it. Maybe that Friday when the ride is open. ITs almost the week of the 4th and its just crowed at that point on till Middle/End of August. -

What day do you leave? TNDank any word what is going on with it? -
Six Flags Ohio/Geauga Lake over all never made much sense. Cedar fairs had no reason to own orcas. When that side closed I understood but man was it a cool park that massive park. the dry side closing and leaving the water park never made sense to me. Maybe it was bleeding money but seemed pretty silly to close it as they could of marketed it better. Maybe it really was that they just didn't in the same market as Cedar Point. Like Geauga lake that i think the water park did okay for a few years, not sure why they couldn't just keep the water park open. If they can just sell a water park pass and run it and make a profit seems dumb to just close it. All the trip reports I have seen of Six flags it always looks like 12 people showed up to the park so it closing was not shocked.

Theming around the ride would slow down opening. its stuff they can do between testing and inspecting and what not. -
I think we would have a better understand how everything will work by next week. Your question is valid and I would also like to know. Its harder to leave my family and stand in a 30-45 min line why they might be doing something way more fun with out me. I looked at VIP tour pricing and that might be in your budget but not for me.

How busy on a Saturday do they get. Just trying to figure out how long the lines for the few bigger rides would be. Just trying to see if I could knock out the 3 or 4 roller coasters in a few hours. -
