Garet Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Park posted that construction has started for Jersey Devil! Jersey Devil Seems really late to start construction, compared to SFMM who have already finished the track installation for their 2020 coaster.
thrillseeker4552 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Orion and Candymonium have topped off their lift hills. Pantheon making big progress. Iron Gwazi almost done. Other major 2020 coasters well into vertical construction. Six Flags: "I think we should start digging now, right?"

Sluggo77 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 It’s standard SF’s timing due to Memorial Day goals. IMO they are right on track for the SF’s business model.
qwimjim Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 So usually they open new rides memorial day weekend?
JG-77 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Kinda. Six Flags typically makes general attempt at opening new rides around memorial day, but regularly takes longer than that date (SFMM is the exception, as their 2020 ride looks to be opening in winter!). If everything goes right, SF sometimes soft opens rides a week or so early for members and pass holders. RMC is generally good at getting things done on time, so I'd say there's about a 60-70% chance it will open in May

Not sure if they'll make it.

boldikus Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 Well, Great Adventure finally decided to join the construction party is is now finally pouring footers. All photos via the parks Twitter.
thrillseeker4552 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 The good news is that once the foundation work is complete, the track and support structure should rise pretty quickly. Or at least Wonder Woman and Railblazer did. This one is taller and longer, after all.
boldikus Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 I have to say its nice that they didn't cut down a f*ckton of trees for this, judging by the recent photos it should be tucked back in its own semi-wooded area like a Jersey Devil themed coaster should be.
ytterbiumanalyst Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 ^ That is really good. Should make for awesome night rides too.
KBrylczyk Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 It'll be open just in time for Fright Fest, hence the Jersey Devil theme.
DoinItForTheFame Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I swear... at this rate.... this will still be open before West Coast Racers.
coasterbill Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 (edited) Oh, we’re making fun of Winterfest at Carowinds? I felt so safe yesterday walking by the palm trees by Intimidator in a T shirt looking at all of the closed rides. Nice to know that I was finally at a park that cares about my safety. Canobie Coaster Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I love this park. Shout out to Carowinds! Projected high of 37. A bit warm for Nitro to be honest.
Genx24 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Sounds like fun. Nitro was hauling on Friday, so the participants are sure to be in for some fun.
