coastermaniac1 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 I have only been to one small park which was Tivoli World in Malaga, Spain. It was alright but since I was there they got a 200ft Intamin drop tower and a log flume. So Tivoli World.
pianojohn Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Martin's Fantasy Island.  On the plus side:  1) Only cost me $10.95 to get in after 5pm, and I was able to do everything as many times as I wanted.  2) The Silver Comet is a GREAT coaster! Lots of speed and drops, and not at all what I was expecting.  3) They sell Sugar Waffles! If you have not had one, they are kind of like a funnel cake but much thinner. See pic below  4) Friendly staff  5) Beautiful location and views of Niagra Falls from the Drop tower  And there really aren't any negatives! When you pay $11 to get into a park, you don't expect much, but I was very impressed! Oh...free parking too!!! And this is what 1/2 of one looks like with the powder sugar all over me! This is what a Sugar Waffle looks like Fun flat rides The Silver Comet
niiicolaaah Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 ^^ Silver Comet! Â My favorite small parks: Â 1. Knoebel's (does that count??) - has some very unique rides, 2 great coasters, an AWESOME dark ride, and I really like the setting. 2. Rye Playland - THREE dark rides, I mean come on! And the Dragon Coaster is really quirky with its roaring tunnel. 3. Sylvan Beach - very relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, awesome Pretzel dark ride, everything is in great condition. 4. Canobie Lake Park - lots of trees, MINE OF LOST SOULS woohoo... Yankee Cannonball is fun. 5. Martin's Fantasy Island - Silver Comet.. enough said.
Janster Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Drievliet near the Hague, it's a fun little park.Quite a fun park, but mainly because of their new for 2007 launched X-car coaster. The mouse coaster over there is also a lot of fun! Don't you prefer Toverland? That new GCI woody is my favourite ride, ever. And Booster Bike of course.
ghost007jas Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Either, Bonfante Gardens or possibly the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Tanks4me05 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Sylvan Beach. The park SCREAMS 1940, and it's clean, too, with some good rides. Simple as that. Â -Tanks "Full Fledged Sylvan Beach Enthusiast" 4me05.
christianscoasters Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 IDK if Frontier City counts or not, but I think that it's kinda small. FC is beautiful and has some really good rides including a Schwartzkopf. Trees are everywhere, lines are nowhere, and is just so much fun.
Medusa1861 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Clementon Amusement Park because ...well... J2 is amazing. The log ride is ok too...
chmilo24 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Definitely SCBB, now that is an awesome park with a even more awesome Woodie.
coasterdude5 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It was Libertyland, but when that closed I had to look for a new one... Â ...and I'm still looking. Â It would be Magic Springs but I'm not sure it counts as a small park.
sio Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Nigloland just because the grass is regularly mowed and all the park is naturalness and nonartificial. From what I can see with pictures, it's like Dollywood with less sensations and decorations but nicer.
alanjonesbath Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Well for me I guess it has to be my 'home' park, Oakwood in south-west Wales, UK. I guess it isn't 'that' small anymore, but I've been going to it since it opened when it was so uncommercialised, had just one (small) coaster etc. I still love the park for its 'small' feel. I've just gotta go back soon to ride Speed
dr.gumbo Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Errm... It has to be 'Light water valley' however 'Loudoun castle' was nice.
BeemerBoy Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Belmont Park. It's San Diego. It's Mission Beach. Nuff said.
Gav- Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Drievliet near the Hague, it's a fun little park.Quite a fun park, but mainly because of their new for 2007 launched X-car coaster. The mouse coaster over there is also a lot of fun! Don't you prefer Toverland? That new GCI woody is my favourite ride, ever. And Booster Bike of course. Â I just thought i'd say the smallest park i've ever been to, but I also like Toverland a lot only it's starting to become one of the larger parks in the Netherlands now.
FeelTheFORCE Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Idlewild in PA. So many memories there as a kid.
