League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is the biggest pile of steaming crap ever to be granted the grace of a high budget AND frickin' Alan Moore material. I mean, damn, I've seen more character and engagement from key-rings! On a lighter note, Inception is one of the best films I have seen in recent memory. Its up there with Blade-Runner for me.

Lovely photo's, especially the evening ones. Maybe some narration would have been better though. -

So if that rumour was true, does that mean Thorpe Park will be getting one soon too? -

Shame. It looks pretty unique too. Hope your having a good time. Would love to drag my ass down to Oakwood sometime but its quite far-out unfortunately. -

The weather is always cruudy in the UK, you don't see too many unpale Brits. No, you just see a lot of orange ones. Hope you all enjoy the trip! -
Nürburgring launched coaster

I think its safe to say this ride is a failure. Only Dubai's money problems are giving it much hope at getting that record. -
Woo, I 'm not alone. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the first act in Afghanistan but the rest just seemed a bit dull in comparison.

I wouldn't call it laziness. Just over-ambition. -
How To Train Your Dragon is better than Avatar.

I love this park. I love how 'stitched' together it feels. And I love that Twist n' Shout coaster they have. Thanks for the report. (still think The Plough is the stupidest name you could come up with for that chair swing ride) -

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this which you haven't already mentioned, so here's Bush eating a kitten instead. But really, in a word; pretty damn awesome. -

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with the Th13teen marketing? I mean, who says a family ride has to be all happy and sugar-coated. Some kids, believe it or not, do like going on scary-looking rides rather than generic-looking ones and the low heigh restriction means they can actually ride this one, whether it compares to Nemesis or not. -

Yeah, a launch would be a good idea. -

I said later on that using pre-fab supports was lazy. Not only that, he himself said he didn't bother with them, so I'm not sure why I'm getting criticised here. -

Kids like to be scared. Doctor Who and stuff like that show it. -
Kool Kid's No Limits Koasters [NL]
dr.gumbo replied to Koolkid's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Pretty decent. The supports were lousy and the shaping was a bit off but nice attempt. Good stuff: Some of the elements were fun such as the twisty hill; the attempted heart-lining at places was nice; fast pacing. Bad stuff: Too many lifts hills which killed the good pacing; quite a few pumps especially in the helix elements due to un-circular shaping; the forces were messy and often spiked; the pre-fab supports were lazy; the lack of scenery was disappointing; the heartline, though good in places, was none-existent in others. As I said, good attempt, but it needs a bit of work in places. -

Nice too see NL is becoming more popular again. It felt like it was on a hiatus for the last half year. -

But that was around a century ago when health and safety barely existed. However, this is the most ingenious money scam I have ever heard of. I wish I thought of it.
