ytterbiumanalyst
All right, so Labor Day has passed in the U.S., parks are beginning to either close or go to their Halloween events, and a lot of us are looking forward to next year. Where are you going to be? Here's the tentative plan for me and my family; it's a light year, as we're gearing up for a big Texas trip in 2019: Definitely: Silver Dollar City Six Flags St. Louis Probably: Cedar Point Frontier City Kennywood Kings Island Waldameer Possibly: Six Flags over Texas Unlikely But Would Love to Happen: Beech Bend
Nrthwnd
I want to get this out of the way, before a lot more post here... Nowhere. Skipping a year, so I can afford two trips to Knott's/Disney in 2019.
DoinItForTheFame
Well, 2018 is going to be a bit of a slow year for us... mainly because of the wedding, and cruise that we already have booked. But also because we are preparing for a major west coast trip for 2019. (We were hoping west coast would be 2018 but timing just won't allow that.) Anyway, our 2018 parks: Defiantly: Silver Dollar City Six Flags Over Texas Six Flags Great Adventure Busch Gardens Williamsburg Kings Dominion Six Flags America Probably: Six Flags Fiesta Texas Doubtful, but hopeful: Holiday World World's Of Fun Yep... I think that's about it. Not very likely to change given that we aren't adding any more parks. But we might fully drop HW and WoF.

pryonisys
Definitely: Waldameer Hershey Park (it's nice to have family members that provide us with free tickets) Kennywood Probably: Canada's Wonderland Darien Lake Conneaut Lake Park Doubtful, but oh how I wish: Cedar Point Kings Island Kings Dominion (edited as I am not incredibly defiant. I'm also not super good at this whole spelling thing) Edited September 11, 2017 by pryonisys

joelwee
I really didn't do much coaster riding this summer, due to jaw surgery, so I'm planning to make up for it by visiting a few new parks next year. Having just caught the coaster bug last year, I haven't visited any other parks outside of my home parks, but I definitely want to visit Cedar Point and Kings Island next year. I've been looking at other parks around that area to visit; if any of y'all have any recommendations, I'd love to add another park or two to the list (preferably a Six Flags or Cedar Fair park, since I bought season passes for next year). If that falls through, I'll head up to NorCal to visit SFDK and CGA. Definitely: - Six Flags Magic Mountain (my home park) - Knott's Berry Farm (also my home park) Probably: - Cedar Point - Kings Island - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - California's Great America Maybe: - Six Flags Great America - Michigan's Adventure - Kentucky Kingdom - Dollywood - Kennywood

Jason Maier
Besides my home park (SFA) . . . I'll also be making a couple of drives up to Great Adventure (of course, I will be springing for Gold flash pass). I may also be flying out to one of the other SF parks . . . . . michaellynn4
2018 is split into "pre-wedding" (07/14/18) and "post-wedding" sections for me. Pre-Wedding This time period will be very lean - we actually passed on getting season passes anywhere next year in order to save money, influenced by the idea that we wouldn't have much free time on weekends to go anywhere anyway. I may visit SFGAdv with my brother with one of his BAFF discounts, but that'll most likely be it. Post-Wedding (a.k.a. "The Lynns are Going Dutch!" One of the main reasons why we're saving money now, aside for the wedding and a down-payment on a house, is because we decided that we're going to the Netherlands for our honeymoon. We're most likely staying for 10-14 days, some of which must be dedicated to non-amusement park stuff, so I'm looking at Efteling, Walibi Holland, Toverland, and maybe Attractiepark Slagharen, but only if time allows for it. Once we're home, I plan on getting the 2019 Six Flags passes in order to get into SFGAdv for the remainder of the year, too.
