P. 30: New roller coaster planned for the park

This looks awesome! I really dig the recent creations by GCI, like Mystic Timbers, which is an incredibly smooth woodie that still has some out-of-control feeling and a fun layout with airtime and laterals all over the place. This looks to be right in that category and adds to SWSA's already unique line-up.

From my experience, all the GCIs I've ridden start smooth. But they can get quite bumpy over time if the maintenance isn't kept up. See Prowler. But I agree their recent woodies have been paced very well.

Wow. Did not think I would see the day where GCI does a conventional first drop. Looks great

They also did a straight drop on Invadr, but I agree it's very rare for them.

Joris en de Draak at Efteling as well!

This looks like a solid addition to the park! I'm still amused that the Gwazi Millennium Flyers are managing to live on beyond that former set of coasters.

Im hoping to do a San Antonio trip around the middle of Feb. The reason for the trip would be Sea World and Six Flags. Is Sea World open weekends in Feb?

Ok, well it seems they started their 2019 season on Feb 23rd so it may not be open for you in the middle of Feb.

Or how bout a GCI Wooden Coaster like Gold Striker, Thunderhead, & White Lightning, I think that would be great for the park to get an GCI Wooden Coaster if possible! But I don't think there's nothing wrong with Texas Splashdown being gone, although it had a little low capacity, not much fun, but not what I meant about TS!

It looks slow! So disappointing! /s

Really excited for this ride! Hoping to find some time to do a Sea World/SFFT trip this year and check out some more of San Antonio. I haven't been to a Sea World since 2000 and that was Sea World Ohio.

First drop looks like it'll provide some decent airtime for those in the back row. This makes me really look forward to my Texas trip in April.

This addition really rounds out the park's offerings. Another reason to make an excuse for traveling to my job's San Antonio office, which is right down the street from here!
