RIP Psyclone Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 The Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, operating continuously since 5/17/1924! My #2 isn't much newer, California's other Giant Dipper, at Belmont Park in San Diego, operating since 7/4/1925 with a lengthy SBNO period. Â EDIT: ^^GASM? Are you kidding? That's not even the oldest in the park.

odie Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Coaster Thrill Ride at the Puyallup Fair - Opened in 1935.
ebl Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I'd say either the San Diego Giant Dipper or the Santa Cruz Giant Dipper. Fortunately, they're both still running. I think Santa Cruz runs better despite using Morgan trains. Â Eric
brossa Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Rutschebanen, Tivoli Gardens - opened about 1915.
verticalzero Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Scenic Railway - Operating since 1920 at Margate.. Â http://rcdb.com/ig875.htm
Groteslurf Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Big Dipper at Blackpool, 1923. Â Same here.
King of Ka Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Depends if you count relocated coasters. If so, Phoenix (1948 as Rocket at Playland). If not, Blue Streak at CP.
