Six Flags changed the restraints on them however many years ago and if you look at them now, you'll notice that they're noticeably different. ernierocker
Can't remember if I ever posted in this thread... Â Wabash Cannonball at Opryland. I remember it took a lot of coaxing before I finally got on it, but I loved it once I finally got the nerve. Also, my first experience of losing my stomach on the first drop. esvadj
The first coaster I rode with inversions was Dragon Mountain at Marineland Theme Park. Â I was 10 years old and our family was visiting Niagara Falls. Turns out it was 1983, the year the coaster opened. From what I remember, you could not see the coaster at all from the park, just the lift hill. The park maps showed a volcano, a water fall, and all sorts of other things the coaster dove in and out of. I rode it, and the scenery was not complete on the other side of the hill. Â Rode it once, never been back to the park.
ImmelMatt
Â Demon (Six Flags Great America) Â I was deathly afraid of roller coasters. My father said he'd give me five bucks just to ride it once. I never looked back.
