Pingu1651 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Double Loop at Geauga Lake. Wow, a lot of these are Arrows!
Skycoastin Steve Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Mine was Anaconda at KD. I loved it back then but is far to rough for me now. Â Anaconda was mine, too. I was 9, and it scared the bejesus out of me!
BaMiTsPaT Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 My first coaster with inversions was Batman the Dark Knight at SFNE...a lil' intense for a first looper, but thank god for peer pressure or I might not be posting on these forums and loving theme parks as much as I do.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 For me it was the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's MGM (at the time) Studios. Conveniently, it was my first launched coaster as well. Needless to say, I was quite scared before getting on, but I enjoyed it. Â A few weeks later, I rode the Corkscrew at Canobie Lake Park.
mikkey Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Guess it was the Olympia Looping at Oktoberfest 1993 in Munich
BigDipper 80 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 My first coaster with inversions was Scorpion at BGT, and let me tell you, I was terrified my first time! But I have been hooked on 'bigger' coasters ever since that first ride.
jamjar Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Nemesis. Â I don't think I was that scared actually, because it isnt tall and didn't seem *that* fast. Â Great ride though!
manakin Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 my first was magic mountain at Gardaland. I was 14 and I was really scared before get the ride. but I loved it
dragonskeep Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 The Double Loop at Geauga Lake. I was totally afraid and instantly hooked.
AGLOIATHPENGUIN123 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Mine was "The Revolution" at SFMM. Its funny because i remember watching a show called 30 rollercoasters in 24 hours. where a group tried to break the world record, and when i watched it at 7 years old, The revolution came on and i promised myself i would NEVER ride it. I think it also might've been my First real coaster.
CoNNoR Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Mine was a vekoma Corkscrew at Flamingo land and it instantly got me hooked and i don't think that vekoma's are that bad to be honest lol Here's the masterpiece lol
Gerstlauer1 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Mine was "Vildsvinet" at BonBonland Amazing FirstDrop... Awesome,
A-kid Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Corkscrew at Alton. Shat my pants beforehand (was a lot younger). Loved it afterwards and then went for another go!
davisal771 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Rock n' Rollercoaster. I didn't know it looped until I rode it.
KCForce Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Shockwave at Six Flags Over Texas   Mine too. But I rode it the year it opened, 1978. (Somehow, I don't think you were even a glimer then. )
Sidra Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I can't remember exactly, because I rode them both the same day, but it was either Corkscrew at KBF or Montezooma's Revenge.
Fire2box Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Demon at Paramounts Great America. (now known as California's Great America, owned by Cedar Parks. Sadly, ceadr isn't seemingly willing to do anything but possibly maintain the rides it has.. which is a shame since it could be a great park but six flags discovery kingdom trounces them now.)
deathbydinn Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Rock n' Rollercoaster. I didn't know it looped until I rode it. Â Haha, same with me!
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Montezooma's Revenge, Knott's Berry Farm...back when the whole ride was still yellow (I think I was 7...maybe 6...I just know that was the first ride I did when I was 4' tall) This really does not need a caption...
