1. Robb, you brought a really good point on Twitter that I think is worth re-iterating. Disney, and ONLY Disney, is capable of combining guest safety with guest satisfaction. I literally got into an "argument" of sorts on Facebook because some brainwashed Cedar Point employee kept INSISTING that these heinous policies that you see at Cedar Fair parks are nothing but necessary. Further, whenever I brought up the fact that places like Disney have made it possible to balance safety without overly restricting guest freedoms, his response was always "no, because what if an idiot does this..." So yeah, I don't think any of us are wrong to believe that there is a "better way" to handle this.
2. H O L Y C R A P I just rode RailBlazer and I still haven't collected myself in response to it! It may be short, but goodness, it's like a mini Maverick or something. So forceful, so smooth, and so fun! You all need to come ride it. (I know, I'm a little late to the game.)
3. I didn't think it would, but it totally did. Really quite an astounding experience if you can get past the fact that it's incredibly short.
4. ^Medusa treatment? lol Actually wouldn't Nylon wheels make it better (faster, stronger) because of the harder wheels? I'd think so? In either case, I still love that ride, but it's intensity really depends on where you sit.
5. ^LOL, I suck at coming across as funny. Apologies, but that was a total joke. I'm sure we have a coaster on the way.
6. ^Yes, obviously a Sky Screamer. I can’t wait to laugh and prove everyone wrong when it opens next summer.
7. Thank you, I appreciate the apology! Believe me, I'm not trying to pee in anybody's corn flakes here! Bruh, some of us are eating here.
8. ^That's quite a way to say hello! Reported
9. ^ I was appalled when I learned that TMZ decided to release the call of Chester Bennington's 911 call. Even for TMZ, I thought it was a new low. It's sad how groundless our society is. Further, it's sad that our society doesn't seem eager to change.
10. ^ If I may ask, did it look any different to you? Slower, or less spinning at all? I'm one of the few who actually loves 4D coasters like GL, so I'm curious to hear. Thanks!
11. Hey sixflagsruler, look what you did! The saga continues! You made screamscape! Life goals.
12. Dan, I think you just hit the nail on the head as to all the problems I've had with this park. While I still try to enjoy visiting there, and yes, it has improved, I will say that this park has its priorities backwards! I can totally see where you're coming from.
13. I've been proven wrong often on here. This is nothing new. Still, my comment stands: somebody sucks at No Limits.
14. If anybody is headed to the park soon, feel free to PM me, as I'd love to meet some new roller coaster people. (Sorry GP friends, you're just not fun enough. )
15. i also like superman for what it is, but rarely ever ride it because the line is often too long. anywhere near the entrance of the building is long for me. i need to just ride on a ghost town day. I still dislike Superman for being one of the first single-element roller coasters to still be considered a roller coaster. People complain about Fireball's being a roller coaster for just having a loop, but Superman is half a hill at best. I mean, I'll take Superman over a Fireball any damn day. What looks like something more on paper doesn't always mean it will be a better experience.
16. It does seem odd as to why Knott's would attempt to reference an earlier than expected date. I did notice that the website changed from "Summer 2018" to "2018" in regards to when HangTime is opening. Still, I don't see March 31st happening...
17. I noticed that Grace Peacock, the Director of Communications for Canada's Wonderland had hinted on Twitter that "...somebody's getting a makeover for 2018". In the photo it looks like Vortex's cars getting a makeover. It would be nice for Vortex's trains to receive their original colours which they had back when it opened in 1991, as that would be amazing. We'll just have to wait and see what's in store as time progresses. Vortex in 1991 (It's opening year): Photo credit: www.loopyguy.com It's getting a Timber theme How do you know this? Please provide proof. Just wait, theres 30 something days till the Bank days and Canada's Wonderland said they would reveal shortly Translation: I don't have any. And: Scene!
18. I'm just stating what I was told in this thread about a year ago. "I read it on the internet, therefore it is true."
