  1. I'm really glad to see SFGadv getting some greatly needed flat rides. Maybe this will cause the lines to decrease on some of their coasters, even if it's only by a few people!
  2. When I first heard that SFMM might be getting a drop tower, I immediately thought that they should attach it to Superman. I remember thinking how awesome it would be if they actually did, now it's going to become a reality!
  3. I've always found the name Millennium Force to be the coolest. It just seems epic to me.
  4. I really hope they re-paint Goliath, I like that Orange/Blue idea a lot. However since this is Six Flags we are talking about, they probably won't do it. It's going to be really strange seeing a giant green coaster in the middle of Crackaxle Canyon.
  5. The best drop I've ever experienced was El Toro in the back row. I can't even begin to describe how intense and awesome it was!!!
  6. Now people will really have deja vu riding "Deja Vu" after riding "Flashback". At least this way it will live up to it's name (If it's kept, probably not). I'll have to head down to SFNE one last time to ride Shipwreck Falls before it closes.
  7. I'll probably be attending a few TPR events for the first time next year. This one would definitely be up there on my list.
  8. What if its a female rider? Are they safe from Leviathans wrath?!
  9. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that it's a medium sized dive coaster.
  10. Am I the only one that kinda liked the parking lot foreplay??? Young kids and their cameras, let them have fun. It's not that bad, better then most of the TR's without any pictures!
  11. Wow, can't believe the chain broke. Hope they have a spare. Definitely a bad year for the ride.
  12. I'm not sure if you've seen actual supports or not (so I could be wrong), but if you're referring to the pictures posted earlier in this thread, I'm pretty sure those are either transfer track supports, or more likely, the supports that stick to the track and hold up the catwalk. So it may not be an all teal coaster just yet. There is the possibility that another support color will be incorporated (Just look at Diamondback), however since there is no evidence of that so far, I'm just assuming that it's an all teal coaster because of the supports on site. Nothing is certain so far.
  13. It has to be Manhattan Express... I wanna see the ride get blown up into a million pieces, and then it's steel recycled for use as a structural base for an underwater oil rig so I never have to see it again.
  14. The only Celebrity/Athlete I have ever met was Jason Varitek at my local grocery store.
  15. Actually it's a really fun ride. Top 3 coasters there. Well of course Bizzaro and Batman take up spots #1 and #2, however 3rd place is a matter of opinion. I'd take Thunderbolt over Flashback any day. Flashback ranks just below Pandemonium in my book and that's being generous.
  16. I think they should just replace Flashback with Deja Vu and then move Flashback to another Six Flags park that doesn't already have a boomerang. Imagine it... Boomerangs for everyone!!! I can honestly say that pretty much no one would care if Flashback is removed. In fact, I think would make the park better if the ride was replaced.
  17. Wow nice job rendering the ride into the park landscape Fooz! I'm very happy that Hershey is getting a ride like Skyrush, it's unique and innovative. It's the type of thing that helps maintain my interest in roller coasters. I don't even have to mention that it's an INTAMIN!!!!
  18. I don't mention it to people more than once because chances are they don't share the same interest for it as me. For example, imagine someone you know talking non-stop about LARPing with you. Wouldn't it get really boring? Every time I meet a new person, I usually just mention something about theme parks or roller coasters only once in order to see if it sparks any interest in them. If it does then I might mention it more in the future. That being said, I think it's fine to discuss it more frequently with the GP only in certain situations (i.e while in a theme park).
  19. I want to be the first to ride every Vekoma Boomerang in the world before I die. Talk about bragging rights!
  20. Nice TR, sounds like you had a great time. Tell the owner that you can't go wrong with an Intamin Woodie!
  21. I've only greyed out once before on a roller coaster. It happened on Nitro last year during the final turn element. I quickly realized though that it was because I had only slept for 3 hours the night before, didn't eat breakfast, and was not drinking enough water at the park. My body was physically exhausted and could not handle the G-Forces. Lesson learned!
  22. I'm gonna have to say Nitro. I was expecting the ride to be at the same caliber as Bizzaro @ SFNE since it was rated near it, however it did not live up to my expectations. It only has decent airtime, and is no where near as intense as Bizzaro. Regardless, it's still a pretty good ride that's in the bottom half of my top 10.
