Gutterflower
Looks like the ride is now open. (well at least soft open, Grand opening is supposed to be next week) Some lovely off ride footage here
viking86
Looks good, this will undoubtly be a crowd pleaser! Looks a bit strange though being all out in the open compared to Manta, which has a lot of vegetation around the ride. But it looks like they have planted quite a bit of trees around the ride so I'm sure that view will change over time. Btw, anyone else love the design of the zero car?? Coaster Hero
^^Sheesh, that video title is in all Chinese characters; how the hell did you even find that?
colinx
Looks nice but not as good as Manta on the theme. It's kinda irking me how eerily similar this is to Manta. I do like the color scheme a lot though, it's pretty unique. The splashdown though, is really not even remotely convincing like Manta's where it looks almost like the train is skimming the water. Gutterflower
^^Sheesh, that video title is in all Chinese characters; how the hell did you even find that? Japanese characters you can tell by the little smiley face that always pops up in Japanese. I found it by searching in Japanese incidentally
robbalvey
^^Sheesh, that video title is in all Chinese characters; how the hell did you even find that? First off, it's Japanese. Secondly, the name of the ride is アクロバット and the name of the park is ナガシマスパーランド That took me approximately 15 seconds to find using Google. If you know what you're looking for and you're somewhat intelligent, it's really not that hard.
Mrlittle
The ride looked really nice from Steel Dragon when we were there a few weeks ago. Just another reason for me to get back to Japan.
DILinator
LOVE the color scheme! (And I'm a big fan of B&M Flyers to begin with, too!) Wish more parks utilized that pairing for coasters. Fun Fact: in every one of my RCT parks, you are guaranteed to find two coasters with that exact color scheme, just switching the blue and the green parts. Plus my shoes would match it. Yeah, I'm a big fan of the colors!
Paradox
I love that color scheme! Isn't Universal supposed to be getting a flyer?
Superbatboy
I think the color scheme actually tops Manta's, very aesthetically pleasing

Imagineer Josh
Who would've thought? Arashi is a new S&S Free Fly Spin for Nagashima Spa Land in 2017. This is really a surprise, especially considering they just got a B&M Flyer 2 years ago! Edited August 27, 2018 by larrygator

Superbatboy
Awesome, looks like these will start popping up at multiple parks.
Henry M
Are these coasters S and S' attempt at the Intamin version, are they basically the same?
SixFlagsAstroworld
This will make a great addition to the park. Those S&S Freespins look very fun (I haven't ridden one yet)
Mater
The S&S Free Spins are like the Intamin Zacspins except less intense.
gerstlaueringvar
Ahh that's what that empty area where the Top Spin used to be is for! Nice to see Nagashima Spaland keep getting rather modern rides, the park was very nice but overall feels like it was stuck in the 80's.
Superbatboy
I'm curious to know how the track fabrication process will work for these 4D coasters now. I remember hearing that RMC won't be making the track for these anymore, but will allow S&S to use the patent for ibox??
cal1br3tto
Sweet! I have a sort of middling opinion on this park, but it was certainly on my must-get-back-to list for the awesome-looking flying coaster, and because it has a fairly decent ride collection as it is. DoinItForTheFame
Glad to see another park going with an S&S Free Spin! Hopefully we will see the "larger" version installed here!
Superbatboy
^According to RCDB it's a clone of the Six Flags' installations. Hopefully they're wrong and we finally see the bigger version.

Look at the old Intamin tracks for Superman and Tower of terror. I don't think it is a patented track design, and I think S&S will be able to use it for their 4D coasters. RMC has been making the track for S&S. If they're no longer making it, then they're likely licensing it for this application.
