mike541x
I was just wondering what are the three closest parks near you? You can put by how many miles or how long it usually takes to get there or both. Sorry if there's already a thread for this. As for me: 1.Six Flags America, about 50 miles (45 minute drive) 2.Kings Dominion, 93 miles (About an hour and a half drive) 3.Busch Gardens Williamsburg 164 (Used to be a 3 hour drive, but last time we made it in under 2 and a half)

alejon
Living in northern Sweden (Luleå) isn't ideal for visiting theme parks.. 1. Power Park 535km (6h 53min) 2. Särkanniemi 742km (9h 23min) 3. Gröna Lund 907km ( 10h 34min) Luckily it takes just 1h 20mins to fly from Luleå to Stockholm, and there are lots of flights to choose from and the fares are low. bert425
I grew up less than 1 mile from Astroworld (sniff. . Marvel McFey, I miss you!). but since I don't live in Houston since the mid 80's, and since Astroworld is dead and gone, here's my answer: 1) Six Flags Fiesta Texas (about an hour ten minute drive) 2) Sea World San Antonio (about an hour & 1/2 drive) 3) Six Flags Over Texas (about 3 & 1/2 hour drive). if you count Water Parks (which I don't), Schlitterbahnn is about 40 minutes away. viking86
1) Kongeparken (122 miles - 4,5 hours due to 2 ferry crossings) 2) Lilleputthammer (267 miles - 6,1 hours) 3) Tusenfryd (295 miles - 6,5 hours) 4) Liseberg (484 miles - 10 hours) Tusenfryd is the closest park with large rollercoasters. And as you might understand from the driving times listed, roads in Norway are not exactly built for speed...

Myself
In case my large amount of Kennywood-related posts doesn't give it away, I live about ten minutes from the park. The other two closest for me are Fun Fore All and Idlewild. When I'm at school, Idlewild is just a couple miles down the road, so Kennywood and Lakemont are the closest parks to me. Just to spice it up a little, according to RCDB, Tuscora Park, Erieview Park and Memphis Kiddie Park are the three closest parks that I haven't been to.
