yay101 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 My favorite is Meteor at Dorney Park. 100% F-U-N!!! I haven't ridden Meteor, but I have ridden Aero 360 and it is one of the most underrated flat rides out there. So much fun Probably my favourite flat ride, though, is Double Shot at Indiana Beach. It ejects you from your seat unlike any other double shot and space shot I have ridden. Huss Small Frisbees (like Revolution at SFGAm) are also very underrated because they are actually pretty intense.
jimmiemac02 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 The flyers at Knoebels are my favorite. SO MUCH SNAPPING!!!!!
YoshiCraft2011 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 La Revolucion at Knott's. It was a really, really fun flat. Too bad the sign lied to me this year. It was closed.
ScreaminNewEngland Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Enterprise. The best. Period. Round Ups are my second favorite along with zippers and basically all of Dorney Park's flats.
DevinC049 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I'll second the aero360/meteor comment. Forgot about those.
rubysparkles Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 The Flash at Ocean Park which is a Mondial UltraMax, it's a really fun ride. I wish more parks would install one of these. I think the only other one in the world is at Fantasy Island, but I can't really find that much information on it online.

Also the OTSR are pretty uncomfortable for hanging upside down. I still think the best flat ride at Ocean Park is the HUSS Enterprise.
GwaziBSRider1 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 ^ I LOVE Huss Enterprises. Hell, I love (almost) all of the older Huss rides. Condors, Enterprises, Flying Carpets, and the Pirate ships are a particular favorite. That's one of the reasons I have such a fondness for Marineland. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to all of their Huss rides!

Nickstroberg Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Easily, ZIPPERS! The best fucking flat out there. End of story. Its just such a damn shame they aren't too common anymore.
Heather Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Easily, ZIPPERS! The best fudging flat out there. End of story. Its just such a damn shame they aren't too common anymore. The Zipper is so fun! It's always a fun experience when I bring a friend who hasn't ridden it before, haha.
patrick_rc_fan Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I got to go with Top Scans. I've been on one, Shockwave at Canada;s Wonderland, and it was so much fun.
K1ngdaKa88 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I prefer the less thrill flat rides like Scrambler, Music express, octopus, bumper cars, ... I prefer them before the other thrill flat rides because of these points: 1. Most of the thrilling flat rides makes me sick 2. Often the ride is so intense and spinning so fast that you can't even realize where is up and down. 3. The most people think that only the high thrill rides makes fun and the others are boring but that's wrong!!! I think the less thrill rides could be make more fun than a thrill ride!!! But everyone has another opinion
Cullvion Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Drop Towers, I hate them so much, but at the same time, it's the flat ride I always go to in the parks I visit.
canadianparkfan Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Zippers, top scans and of course, drop towers all come to mind forme. On a side Nimitz, I'm wondering if anyone here's rode a KMG inversion? I've heard RUMORS that one will be coming somewhat close to my general area, and was wondering if I should bother going out of my way to ride it.
YoshiCraft2011 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Favorite flat? I would say that my favorite flat ride is the S&S Turbo Drop (is that what you call the drop tower that forcefully drops riders down?). It's incredibly forceful during the initial drop, and the rest of the ride is tame, but still quite fun.

Valleyfair's has gotten terrible, but the one at Knott's runs really well. CP's is somewhere in between.
TogoFan Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Would my 12 and a half foot tall heavy duty commercial grade swingset count as a flat ride? It pulls about 3 gs when I am swinging full height and I get some good 0g airtime.
GCI Wooden Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 ^^ I treat valleyfair's power tower as a observation tower. Is sad, really. I really enjoy enterprise and gerstlauer sky flys.
VF15 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 ^ Same here. I always choose the Space Shot side since it has airtime and is fun, while the Turbo Drop towers, other than provide a good view, don't do anything for me.
coasterschile Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I think I'm the only person that love Top Spin's
coasterschile Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 ^ Also Drop Towers, specially Freefalls
jray21 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Intamin 1st Generation Drop Towers, and Frisbee's!
