I'll be going to Disneyland for the first time in over 8 years on April 4th or 5th, and I'm going to need some advice from more frequent visitors about the park like what rides should I try to get on first and how early should I get there because the park is open from 8 to 11 on either day I choose. Any advice is good advice!

I will be heading to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the first time on either the 2nd or 4th of April. I have been to a few of Six Flags' parks so I do know what to expect in terms of food and services, but I still have a few questions. What rides should I try to get on early in the day? Which rides are the busiest throughout the day? Finally, where is the best place to eat in Six Flags Magic Mountain? Thanks in advance.

[RCT2] Windsor Park

WOW! I don't usually comment on parks like this, but this is phenominal! For how limited these games are, you really took the opportunity to make it look fantastic! This almost looks like an aerial view from some of these pictures. -

I rode Gwazi in August of 2012, with the new trains, and it was awful! I don't know what these people are talking about, but they're probably nostalgia-blind to see the ride how it truly is. I mean, it was still a fun ride, but... OUCH! -
Which rides have given you greyouts?
Cullvion replied to rcjp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
2 actually, both of them at Six Flags Great Adventure. Nitro's helix, and Batman: The Ride's 1st loop or helix. -
"Ribs" by Lorde, my favorite musician I might add.

Skyplex Orlando Discussion Thread

This looks ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! I'll probably be one of the only people in my family who will ride this, but it'll be worth it when it opens!!! -
In 2010, my family and I were at Cedar Point. Our first ride was Millennium Force. On the drop, I saw something fall from the corner of my eye, when I got off the ride, my mom realized that her wallet was missing. At the time, we didn't exactly get that you had to rent a locker for your belongings while in line. ALL of our money was in there, our identifications, camera, licenses. We only bought some fries with the little money my dad had, it was pretty pathetic. That and the fact that I got sick the next day made for a miserable ride home. Luckily, they did find the wallet the next day, but there was no camera, and no sign of it anywhere.

Stand-Up coasters= A failed concept?
Cullvion replied to fraroc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, I think like a lot of roller coaster types, stand-ups were a large fad when they first really began appearing. I think when they first began becoming big, everyone had the mindset of "WOW! I've never stood UP on a roller coaster! This is something I should try!" But now since that fad has died down, everyone just kind of sees them as uncomfortable and painful, which to me is strange. When I rode my first stand-up, it wasn't uncomfortable or anything like that, but it left this really weird sensation in my feet. I wonder how we'll see the current coaster fads in 25 years from now. -
Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread
Cullvion replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Umm... regardless of quality, Canada's Wonderland has 16 roller coasters, it's currently tied for the most coasters in Cedar Fair parks! I really don't think that's exactly neglecting, especially since they've gotten 2 B&M hypers in the last 5 years, one of them being a giga-coaster, and a one of a kind shooting ride this year. -

Best first drop on a steel coaster?
Cullvion replied to CPmillenia94's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In NO particular order: Kingda Ka, amazing view on the top and on the way down! X-Flight, the fact that it was slow did not help! Millennium Force, just pure dread and excitement! Maverick, airtime! Sheikra... That anticipation was like no other! I could just go on and on... but I'll restrict it to these few. -
What's your favorite Flat ride?
Cullvion replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Drop Towers, I hate them so much, but at the same time, it's the flat ride I always go to in the parks I visit.
