  1. Could you imagine the roller coaster...
  2. I need to ride Goliath at Six Flags Great America or I will die, I tell you, DIE!
  3. I'll be going to ride it this summer! Looks absolutely incredible!
  4. Hmm, interesting... from what I can see from what you've given, I have no idea what it is. My money is on a record-breaking B&M or Arrow, because those were popular ride choices then, but we'll have to wait and see!
  5. 1950's - Matterhorn Bobsleds (Disneyland) 1960's - Blue Streak (Cedar Point) 1970's - Gemini (Cedar Point) 1980's - Scorpion (Busch Gardens Tampa Bay) 1990's - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith (Disney's Hollywood Studios) 2000's - Millenium Force (Cedar Point) 2010's - Cheetah Hunt (Busch Gardens) For me, everything from the 30's to the 40's were the worst time for roller coasters. No one was riding them due to the war and the recession, and more than half of america's theme parks during this time closed.
  6. This park has the most engaging storyline that I've ever read! It's happy, sad, and nostalgic all at the same time! The way the park has evolved really makes it feel as if it actually exists! I hope the park can go to present day!
  7. Six Flags Great America! I have to get there early if I want a ride on Goliath!
  8. Let's just all agree that the RCT series is officially dead and move on... no, we can't. ATARI WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!??!?! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!?!?!? DO YOU?!
  9. Roller Coasters: Thunderhawk (Michigan's Adventure) That's it, seriously. I always go to parks on years they don't add anything new so there's not many people who are there just to experience it and then clog up the rest of the park. So I honestly almost never go on roller coaster's their opening year. Except, this year I will have more as I'm going on the Goliath at Six Flags Great America, Banshee at King's Island, and the Firechaser Express at Dollywood, so then I'll have 4 coasters I've been on during their debut season! Thrill Rides: Lakeside Gliders (Michigan's Adventure) Shoot the Rapids (Cedar Point) Same as above, I almost never go when a new ride debuts for crowd reasons.
  10. Michigan's Adventure, no contest. Their last coaster was a SLC in 2008, so it's been over 6 years. But that was relocated from Geauga Lake, so it's not a 'new coaster'. The last original coaster they built was a CCI called Shivering Timbers in 1998, so they're over 16 years due for a new, unique coaster! I don't see them doing anything too big, but maybe a launched coaster like Sky Rocket at Kennywood would be nice! Heck, even a thrill ride, like a Intamin drop tower, would do wonders for the park!
  11. My 3 (driving time): Michigan's Adventure ~ 45 minutes Six Flags Great America ~ 3 hours Cedar Point/Indiana Beach ~ Both around 5 hours
  12. Top 10: 1. Millennium Force (Cedar Point) 2. Sheikra (Busch Gardens Tampa) 3. Cheetah Hunt (Busch Gardens Tampa) 4. Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) 5. Maverick (Cedar Point) 6. Bizarro (Six Flags New England) 7. Great Bear (Hersheypark) 8. Blue Fire (Europa Park) 9. Raging Bull (Six Flags Great America) 10. Thunderhawk (Michigan's Adventure, the smooth SLC I've been on) The bottom 10: 34. Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome) 35. Magnum XL 200 (Cedar Point) 36. Ninja (Six Flags St. Louis) 37. Corkscrew (Cedar Point) 38. Sky Rider (Canada's Wonderland) 39. Viper (Six Flags Magic Mountain) 40. X2 (Six Flags Magic Mountain) 41. Manhattan Express (New York New York, Las Vegas) 42. Dark Knight Coaster (Six Flags Great America) 43. Toboggan (Lakemount Park) 44. Green Lantern: 1st Flight (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
  13. El Loco! http://www.thecoastercritic.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/El-Loco-Roller-Coaster-Adventuredome-Las-Vegas-Circus-Circus.jpg
  14. I seriously wonder what the board meeting at Atari was like when they made this game... "Hmm, well, people do love mobile gaming, and people love cartoonish games... Say... we haven't made a new RCT in a while, WHY DON'T WE PUT IT ON MOBILE? FANS WILL SURELY LOVE THAT!" "YEAH!" "But how should we design it?" "LET'S RIP OFF EVERY OTHER THEME PARK GAME ON THE MARKET, AND IF THEY WANT TO ADD RIDES, THEY NEED TO PAY REAL MONEY FOR IT!" "WE'LL GET RICH SO QUICKLY!" "LET'S DO IT!"
  15. Okay, well there's another game series to add to my "ruined by mobile version" list. It looks like every other game franchise, this is what mobile gaming has done to the market. KILL IT WITH FIRE.
  16. ^Oh Mean Streak... the most hated roller coaster in the midwest...
  17. When I was 3, my aunt brought me to this carnival in Grand Haven, Michigan. It had all the rides you'd expect, a drop tower, zipper, Fireball, etc, etc, etc... Apparently, the ride that caught my attention was one of those teeny tiny dragon coasters for kids, so I went on it and LOVED it. I later wandered away and my family freaked out, but my sister knew EXACTLY where I was... yeah, it was in line for that dragon coaster. That's how I got started anyways, I went to Michigan's Adventure the next year and went on the Zach's Zoomer and I was in LOVE with roller coasters from that day on.
  18. All my friends who have gone on it say that it's mainly several of the twists on the underground portion and the fact the ride now has many lackluster airtime drops or turns. They all liked the inversion though!
  19. This is actually really creepy for me. The whole park looks... abandoned. The rides are all stripped down and the snow just covers everything and nobody's there and... it is really freaky to see it like this! That's why I love it!
  20. My list: California: Space Mountain Florida: Sheikra Michigan: Shivering Timbers Illinois: GOLIATH Ohio: Millennium Force Nevada: Canyon Blaster New Jersey: El Toro!!!
  21. I was not allowed admission a lot as a kid as I was tall enough, but I was too skinny for the restraints to properly reach me, if that makes sense.
  22. Something I once thought was that Disney World should get a ride like Top Thrill Dragster but theme it like the scene in "Up" where the house flies off the ground and goes over the city.
  23. Confirmed (New Parks): Six Flags Great America (Goliath FTW!) Hershey Park (Promising rides there) Dollywood (Friend won tickets!) Confirmed (Already Visited): Michigan's Adventure (Closest park to me, we go every year anyways) Possible: Kennywood (If we can get the time for it) Cedar Point (Already went in 2010, but I do want to try the Gatekeeper) Six Flags New England (Probably not, but it'd be nice) Coney Island (If we can go to New York in the summer) Kings Island (Banshee...) Holiday World (The Voyage is supposed to be amazing or something)
