  1. (Cullvion Note: Special Valentine's Day update with nothing to do with Valentine's Day) Hello again my faithful readers! It's been a fast month here at River Night Park, and I'm excited to learn that I'm going on a road trip with my friends, so after this there won't be any updates for a while, but the next time I do see you I'll have a very special surprise! It's going to be a video of the park! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've gone to park so many times with my year pass that every time I walk down this area I feel as if it's getting shorter every time! I tried my best, but I managed to get all the 1978 additions all in one picture! Now, I might not be an expert on parks, but I think it's safe to assume it's a pretty busy day when the bathrooms are getting lines out the door... The swings were flying really high and very fast today! *Sigh*, I just skipped the roller coasters on this trip, they all had lines that were too long for my tastes. Tagada broke down for about 4 hours today, it's been having very similar mechanical issues all season! I thinks it's something to do with the motor in the ride. I've been hearing rumors that the small eatery is getting too small for all the crowds coming in and it is going to be replaced by a restaurant, it would be nice, and it'll help make the park feel like a real amusement park rather than a large carnival. Woodland Waterways is a terrain log flume, and the hills really impact how high some parts of the ride are compared to others as seen here! The screams of people riding Thunder Bobs ring in the air.
  2. The July Rush's 1st day was in full swing! All the tourists going to the great lakes took small stops at the park on their way, which really boosts up revenue and activity within the park! Time for a short update on the matter! ~~~~~~~~ Undoubtedly, the most popular ride of the day was NightFall, and luckily it was running smoother than normal to make a good impression on first time riders! The horses seemed to also gather people's attention, especially when 2 started to fight over food or something like that. Those tiny compartments on Enterprise really make me feel claustrophobic! I feel that they should really put something in that large space behind StarFire to really spice up the midway, it doesn't have to be a ride, but even a gift-shop could help a lot, and then again, it would cramp it up though. The sheer size of Tri-State Troubles pushed a lot of new visitors away! I can't blame them for it! I can't really tell why, but when I see Skywheel and other rides like that I just for some reason see the park as a large, permanent carnival. I guess maybe one of the reasons is that it's owned by McCalden Son and Brothers, a carnival company. Everyone today was just going their own way...
  3. ^True... but WOW! This is seriously awesome and realistic! It really does seem like and feel like a medium sized town that is attempting a tourist attraction! Good Job! Also, Six Flags Yolo-world? Either this is a world I don't want to live in, or Six Flags just went insane.
  4. *Yawn* The sleepy haze of the summer days is really taking its toll on my sanity. I guess I should make this the last update during this boring period. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The canoes finally opened up after nearly a month of water safety tests. Because of the expanded route, you can now get awesome views of Nightfall! Because they've been trying to spice up the park, they now have added this small Indian village down the river. Although it's a nice touch, it has a large area where there is nothing but woods. Along with a lot of shore dirt. From the queue line of Octopus, it makes the ride look far more family friendly than it actually is. Beyond the bushes I see the hot dog stand I ate at before riding this, it wasn't such a good idea afterwards! Lines were fairly moderate today, and that made it easy ride every single attraction at the park today! Maybe even go on it a few extra times! The G-forces on Thunder Bobs makes me feel quite lightheaded and the backwards portion doesn't help very much... The zebras are dull, and 3/5 of them basically sleep all throughout the day! You know, it's like a spaceship in orbit on steroids! It just keeps going around, and around, and around! One last ride on Tri-State Troubles to finish off the day at my favorite and cheapest park! At the rate things are going, I'd better hope this July rush really picks up the pace of the park events!
  5. Today's visit was in the middle of the June days, when the park attendance begins to level out and crowds go down until the early July rush, at least that's what happened last season. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First off, the swings! It was running at full capacity all day today, which is sort of reasonable as it is quite a beautiful ride. Like I said before, crowds were relatively moderate all day today! The lines are still VERY long for NightFall, it was nearly an hour when I got in line! This ice cream stand at the exit of Octopus has awesome ice cream! The only catch is the fact it's expensive! $2.00 for a small cone! It's a conspiracy I tell you! Due to deforestation on Woodland Waterways, you can now take a clear picture of the never before seen first drop of the ride! Another train arrives from another successful run on Nightfall! Comparing it to 1977, it seems like Skywheel is running particularly fast this season, a new motor I guess? Dear god, this is the worst part of StarFire, all the blood rushes to your head, and it just feels... *shudders*. If any of you wanted to know where NightFall is compared to Tri-State Troubles, this is basically the best shot I could get for some reason. And lastly, Tagada wasn't removed! I'm pretty happy about this because no member of the River Night Park family should ever leave us!
  6. Hello everyone! I was excited to visit the park today as it is the first day of opening season, which means NightFall, and a new camera with better quality than the one I used for season 1! (Creators note: A new filter) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's so pleasant to get to the park early when no one is around and see StarFire! The restraints are tighter than I remember, and the lines looks short for now... Until I look up at the metal grate during the loop duration, and I see a FULL CAPACITY queue filled with people! Oh no! Thousands of people were packing into the park, and it was hard to not crash into someone within 2 or 3 seconds of bumping into another person! Sigh... 2 more hours until opening, at least the line for Enterprise is an hour. Although at least it's not the only roller coaster in the park! I certainly didn't for get about you Tri-State Troubles! With all the crowds, this wooden roller coaster had one of the shortest lines I saw all day for some reason... At 12:00, Noon exactly. The expansion containing NightFall opened to the public! Everyone was running, laughing, and screaming! It was intense to try to the line! The ride slowly inched up the hill, made its turn, and plunged down! Screams emerged from every corner of ride! And the train lurched up a small turnaround. It was fast, furious, and worth all my anticipation! The loop was fun, and I wouldn't want a second one anyways, but a bit forceful, but the helix was nicely paced and really helped me catch my breath, and this picture of Octopus is also courtesy of it! The corkscrew was undoubtedly the best part of the whole ride! Sure I hurt my head on it, but it was incredible! I've never felt an experience like I did on the corkscrew. Overall, it was an pretty good ride! I do believe they could have done better on some of the turns which were quite slow, but the inversions really made up for it! It's a great ride, but I won't wait 3 hours to ride it, especially since it only has 1 train operating at all times... As for Octopus, I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much. It was kind of exciting when we were up in the air, but for the most part it was basically a themed Scrambler clone. Because everyone was crammed at NightFall the rest of the premises was absolutely dead, this Skywheel line speaks for itself. Like I said, deader than the Texas desert. I didn't see a single person on Woodland Waterways when I was on it and when I got off it. The only other ride that got a repaint was Enterprise, which got repainted partly pink, I think it looked nice when in action! I decided to leave because at this point all the lines were long after the people filtered out from NightFall and went to all the other rides. Watch out Tri-State Troubles! You have some competition for the best ride at River Night Park!
  7. Looks like the final construction update for the off-season! I can't wait for it to open as it looks absolutely stunning as of now! I went to the park 3 separate time to get these so I hope you guys enjoy! Let's get right into it and not waste time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The 2 corkscrews were strangely hypnotic to look at from this angle if that phrase makes any sense. The quick turnaround was not done at the time but I hear it is going to be very forceful! Aw! Look at that cute little Ice Cream stand that is going to be a capacity nightmare from the looks of it... It doesn't help that it's right where the exit to Octopus is. Soon enough, Nightfall was completed on Monday, May 15, 1978 at exactly 4:38 PM! It was a major milestone for the park and everyone involved in it! Now it's only a matter of time until it opens. Will it be a good ride? Or will it be a bust? I just hope it's a good ride, or the park wasted 2.3 million dollars, and I wasted $4 on a full price admission ticket!
  8. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's that time of year, time for me to show what updates I've seen on construction for NightFall so far! I know it's been almost 8 months since the last update in September, but that's when the park closed! So on my trips I've been able to get into the park premises and sneak in when no one is around so that I can photograph the progress, and let's take a look at it now! The first thing I should report on is how destructive the Michigan Blizzard of January, 1978 was first. I was trapped in my house for almost 4 days. Sadly I was not able to get out much, but when I finally did I got this snapshot of some trees near the park perimeter, the ones out of the snow, anyways. About 3 months later on April 18, 1978 the ground-breaking ceremony commenced, and about 3 weeks later I sneaked in and got a picture of the 65% completed lift-hill! The station itself was in fact completed almost 2 days later with everything needed for it installed by all the professionals! Note the finished track in the background. And within a few days time, the newly constructed trains arrived on set! They were made out of the finest metals and plastics by a company hired by Arrow Dynamics that are based in Japan! I love their stylish paint colors! By the middle of May, nearly half of the ride was already finished and all the pieces for the ride had been delivered on set! This crane had just completed adding in some new pieces of track while I was hiding and taking some cool pictures in the nearby woods! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do believe that this is all I have to show you right now! I will get some more photos and I will post them! NightFall is surely to deliver quite a punch when it is finished and open to the world!
  9. Not to worry at all! I actually did change the supports from Green to Blue before you even posted, but thanks for the advice! I did in fact also put flanges on it, and it does look way better! Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry guys! I'm afraid this is going to be the last update for summer 1977! I can't believe my favorite summer working at my favorite place happened so quickly. Not a lot has changed since the opening of the park, but next year it should look much different! I've been hearing a lot of rumors, and I'll let the pictures tell the story! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've noticed than in more updated versions of the NightFall coaster concept art shows it shows the supports now a blue color instead of the green color shown in the original announcement. Another shot of the now blue supports that will be implemented onto the ride. The helix looks strangely like a spider's web! Today was unfortunately rainy today! And for some reason the park was exceptionally busy today! This was the 2nd shortest line I saw all day! FireStar still looks good in the rain! It's getting re-painted yellow next year. What was the shortest line? Why of course it was the water ride Woodland Waterways! It was a walk-on all day! And I only saw about 2 more people get on it while I was riding it! Now, the long straightaway is the most boring part of the whole ride... yawn. I've been hearing very sad conversations which say that the horses are getting sick and they might have to be removed before they can see another season. For those who haven't heard yet, the Enterprise is supposedly going to be moved by the end of 1980, I don't think that would happen though. Oh yeah! They've posted multiple maps around the park for the 1978 season! The only problem I have with it is the fact that they completely cut off Skywheel! This shot really shows how crowded it is inside of StarFire! Those people are squashed in their like sardines! For me, I really hope they expand the bathrooms! I waited like 10 minutes for a stall! There are so many people looking at the menu, and quickly walking away after scanning the prices. The Tagada is reportedly leaving the park in 1979, unlike the Enterprise this is actually something I want to leave the park! Absolute garbage! Mmm! Cold, soggy hot dogs! Last ride of the season! It hasn't changed a bit from day 1, and even with the new ride it'll be my favorite ride in the park! Back seat shot for the coolness in it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The next update will just be a compilation of construction photos from time-lapsed visits to the park during the winter, so stick around to see that!
  10. This morning I drove into work and as soon as I walked into the employee room I noticed something was very intense. Everyone was crowded around one of the tables in there as they were all being handed something, and once I got a look at it I was absolutely excited at what I was reading. It was the official announcement pamphlet for the new expansion! To be fair, I wasn't that surprised as I still have that document I stole, and I knew this was coming. I'll post parts of the reading while adding my own comments. I'm very mad that the concept art has better quality than my own camera! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JUNE, 1978. A NEW TERROR WILL TAKE SPACE IN THE SKYLINE OF RIVER NIGHT PARK. BUILT BY ARROW DYNAMICS, NIGHTFALL WILL BE THE ONLY LOOPING ROLLER COASTER IN THE PARK. Behind the Tagada the largest single investment made by McCalden and Brothers has made aside from the park itself. Wow! It looks absolutely tremendous from this artwork! I can't wait to see it in real life when it becomes a reality! Reaching a height of 101 feet into the atmosphere, it will tower over the pathway, and after a turn, slam you right back down towards the dirt. It's high all right, but not as high as the Tri-State Troubles by about 34 feet. The ride takes a sudden turn up a turnaround and does a complete 360 as it intensifies in its gravitational forces. Huh, I don't really see that happening on a ride by Arrow Dynamics, but if it's what they want I'll let it go. I just don't see the point of the complete turnaround, and maybe it's just me who thinks that? Right after that, the ride will go through its first of 3 inversions, a large vertical loop at around 50 feet above the safety of the pavement. Wait a minute... what? When I read those documents earlier, they specifically stated that there were going to be 2 loops and 4 inversions! I wonder exactly what happened, I'll get to the bottom of this soon enough! Pretty soon after several twists and turns with drops, the ride will go through its final inversions, 2 back to back corkscrews that will scare the living daylights out of you! Prepare to go upside down twice in a row! Um... I see something weird with this, all the other rides I've seen with 2 corkscrews they actually ARE back to back, not with that weird turn in the middle, from what I can see, this ride is very reliant on turnarounds, something you normally don't see in your typical Arrow ride. Once it's all set and done, you can finally sit back and rest in your seat, don't worry, it's all over now. That ending just makes me question how they're marketing this ride even more, it almost makes it sound like that they DON'T want people to ride this again, oh well, we'll just have to see how this plays out when it becomes available to ride to the public. Although I love that Enterprise, I think they have similar color schemes though... Finally, for those of you who cannot stomach this insane scream machine, we also will be implementing an Octopus thrill ride that twists and turns you silly! Great for families with young children! Okay, so I can see this working, I mean, this park does need more family rides in my opinion, so this looks like a great fit for the park! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Overall, I think that it's going to be a great ride! I honestly am a little skeptic about the layout and the marketing direction they're going with this, and I am definitely going to ask about the fact that one of the loops was completely removed from the ride whatsoever! There are many things I don't know yet, but in the next update I'll get answers, and have another park update altogether!
  11. I've also heard some of the rides at Lake Compounce are pretty bad.
  12. It's in between the lines for Tagada and Thunder Bobs, I'll try to get photos of it although it was mentioned in a previous update. It's going to be on the most northern part of the park.
  13. Hey guys! It's another update that I am super excited about, and it's in regards to the official 1978 ride announcement, it happened! To be precise, it hasn't happened yet, but I picked up some documents from Lucas McCalden (One of the 3 owners of the park's) office! Okay, so maybe I stole it and leaked it onto here but that's not what matters right now! What matters is that I can post it without anyone finding out! From what I can tell, it's going to be one hell of a roller coaster! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's the official transcript of the document I found in the office, it's a letter from the Arrow Dynamics Corporation from Clearfield, Utah. It's an apparent order for coaster track pieces: Okay, so I only took 1 document, and once I read it I was very disappointed that I could not get anymore papers regarding the park. Speaking of which I should really return this before anyone gets suspicious. They also had 2 different pictures on it stuck to a paper clip, but one of them fell off, and I had to run so I couldn't pick it up. Also, the other one I had was probably old, as it was kind of yellowed, so I assume it was made quite a while ago. It looks like a huge mess of white steel track, and I can't make out any layout from it, other than the 2 corkscrews near each other and the 2 loops, which are apparently going to be the "4 record-breaking inversions" or whatever. Just remember that I stole this from the office and all I know is from the document and this picture, so I'll update when the REAL announcement happens on one of my work days.
  14. An indoor theme park in Seattle.
  15. What another somewhat interesting day at work! Let's get right to it instead of talking all about how excited I am for something this time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today I got stuck with operating the least busiest and most boring ride in the park, the chairswings. What a boring ride! At least the ride's swinging nature makes it look more visual appealing than it really is. When I went to Tri-State, I noticed that they installed new turnstiles and a height marker. I felt bad when I saw the kid in the purple get turned away from riding as he was too short. This shot shows a very serene version of not so calm ride. When the ride flips upside-down and just holds there for a few moments is with no doubt the WORST and SCARIEST part of the whole ride! Tagada is a quite shaky and rough ride, you can see it on the riders faces. It really hurts afterwards... The view from the Skywheel is fantastic! I see the food court, the horse exhibit, and the tons of tiny people that are exploring the park below! I always forget to take a photo of this even though it's so gorgeous! I'm so sad they want to completely deforest this hill. I got someone's MARRIAGE proposal in front of the zebra exhibit!!! She said yes oh course! Hello there little Enterprise! I see your spinning again after a few days of maintenance trouble, your looking mighty fine now! But it's really such a much better ride when you're trapped in one of the carriages flying through the air and right towards the ground! The air-time filled hump of the Thunder Bobs! It was another fun-stacked thrilling day! I hear that the new attraction for 1978 is going to be announced in the coming days! I can't wait to see what it is! I'm listening to rumors it's going to be pretty big.
  16. ^ Pretty much so. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Today I started my job at River Night Park, and I just have to say I love it! It's so much fun to watch guest's reactions to everything, and it was a really nice day too! I documented it well, so let's get to it now! My first walk into the entrance of the park as an official employee! Well, it was about 2 hours until my shift started so I wanted to get there early. One of the first thing I noticed when walking into the park is how much deforesting they've done! I knew they were going to cut down some trees, but this just exposes everything, for better or for worse! Like I said, you can see right to the other rides that are in the park. Now it's my tradition that every time I go to this park, I have to ride Tri-State Troubles at least once! The more you go towards the food court, the busier it seems to get! I don't know why, but for some odd reason the bathrooms near the zebra exhibit look like the most detailed buildings in the park, or maybe it's just me? Looks like the lunch rush! After eating their delicious Chicken Strips, it was finally time to go to my shift, whatever it was going to be! My manager, Joshua, took all the new employees, (all 2 of us), and told us our jobs. I was super excited when I found out I would be operating Tri-State Troubles for the first park, and the Skywheel in the afternoon! After some basic training, Joshua left me and I was there with 2 other employees to operate the ride. This was my first train of the day! And off they go! First time riders, veteran riders, and everyone in-between are going to have a very wild time! It was really fun operating the roller coaster for the 3 hours that I did, and it was super exhilarating to see all the smiling faces coming back into the station as the train slowed to a stop, everyone should experience it! For the last 3 hours I worked the Skywheel, it takes FOREVER to load and unload, so the lines can get very long on it. It's still a very fun ride though. I still liked working for this ride more though. According to my fellow co-workers, this spot in between the line of Thunder Bobs and the Tagada ride is apparently going to be the spot where the expansion for 1978 is going to be located, I wonder if it's true... McCalden Son and Brothers should make an announcement soon though on the matter. Near closing time I got onto the roof to capture this photo of the entrance plaza at a unique angle, I think it worked really well. That's all for now! I'll try to get the next update when they announce the ride for next year! Until then, Jon is out!
  17. Hello everyone! It's Jon again, and I'm visiting the park again! I just turned 16, and I can drive anywhere, and guess where I went first? Here, that's where. Anyways I plan on getting a summer job here to earn some cash, but anyways in the mean time let's do an update! I also got a new camera, so the pictures are at a much higher quality now! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh! They added some signage to the top of the building, and on the sides of the ticket purchase areas I see. What a great view down a great park! I guess I'll have to try StarFire one day, so why not today? It was much better than I expected! A little girl like 7 threw up all over the place on the ride before me, so they shut off half of the ride space, the lines were much longer after that! Now what would a trip to this park be without a ride on everyone's favorite wooden roller coaster, Tri-State Troubles? It really is the best roller coaster in the world! Well, it'd be more fun if it didn't have all these really long lines! The turns are the only parts of the ride where you can catch your breath. Once it's over your gonna scream! I took a spin on the Tagada they had here, it just almost made me throw up! Time to ride the Forest Splasher, oh wait! It was renamed as Woodland Waterways! I love the new sign they put up for it at the entrance of the line! This isn't even the final drop... Whee! They may be screaming with laughter now, but in a few seconds they're going to be drenched. I took this picture from the top of the Skywheels, it surely is a long way down, but it's good that the lap-bars are holding us in! I'm not sure why I took this photo, but this guy got off the Enterprise and just VOMITED all over the sidewalk. Bad Enterprise! Don't make people throw up! Oh well, I tried it too, it wasn't as fun as StarFire but it was worth the short wait. I don't think a quick bite at a food vendor hurt anyone! Their grilled chicken is INCREDIBLE! The Chairswings are fun, but I'd rather watch right after I eat something. At least it's a photogenic ride. Tri-State Troubles is such an air-time magnet, especially these last few hills! Thunder Bobs roars over one of its humps in the ride, it's probably my favorite thrill ride at this park. For the final ride of the day, I went on the canoes, and got this great picture of Tri-State going over one of its most fierce airtime hills! Goodbye River Night Park and Skywheels! The next time I see you, I'll be working here, as a ride operator! Which one? I don't know yet!
  18. Hello again! I know I haven't been active lately, exams and all, but now I've gotten to make a new park! Well, it's not an actual new park, it's a remake of the cancelled Lil' Soo Creek Park. While it is almost identical to the original, you may notice some differences, the big one being that the park has been renamed to River Night Park. It is still in the same location, (on the border of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio), and many other attributes have been kept! So enjoy reading! The story-line begins a few weeks after opening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey guys, I'm Jon Daniel, a student at Creston High School's 1977 9th grade class! This year for our end-of-the-year trip, we all unanimously voted to visit a new park around 75 south of us! Apparently, River Night Park has been in development since April, 1971, although I don't know who thought of it, (some carnival company), it sure sounds awesome! The main reason it's getting such a big appeal is the fact that it's the only park in the world to be located in 3 different states! Adding to that, they're big roller coaster, Tri-State Troubles, twists and turns through all 3 of them! It was really exciting, and I hope you enjoy photos of my trip from June! ------------------------------------------------ It was really pulse-pounding throughout the whole 1 and a half hour bus ride to the border where the park is, and everyone was abuzz with chatter through it all! When we got to the parking lot gates, the whole bus screamed with joy as we pulled into the parking lot, and we practically trampled each other to get the main entrance! Needless to say, the families that were there for the day quickly moved out of the way! One of the rides people began to push and shove their way to was this insane looping ship ride called the StarFire. I've never been a fan of these rides that go upside down, and aside from that I wouldn't have ridden it anyways as it already had a 45 minute wait! Of course, the main attraction at this park was their signature roller coaster, the Tri-State Troubles! It looked amazing, and I couldn't pass an opportunity to ride it! So I immediately got in the line! I don't care if I waited an hour, it was totally worth it! The trees and foliage truly hide the ride until you get on it! One of my favorite features was how the exit path goes over the track! It's fun to just watch the people coming back from their rides and see their expressions range from pure excitement to pure terror. Finally! It was time to ride "The Greatest Roller Coaster in the World!" But was it going to really be that? On a side note, roller coaster trains are so much bigger than they appear! I was shocked that they were as tall as me when I was getting into them. I was getting pretty nervous as we inched our way up the lift-hill. The higher we went, the faster the whole train seemed to go! My friend Thomas turned around to me and took a picture with his camera of my scared expression, and it's too bad that I couldn't get a copy, I wanted one! Oh my god! The first drop was incredible! The airtime on it was so forceful that I was holding onto my seat out of fear that I was going to fall right out of it! The train then shot up the 2nd hill and again, everyone flew right out of their seats! It was so lucky that those lap bars were there, or we'd all be dead right now! I couldn't get a picture until after the first part was over, and when I did, the beautiful background was blurry. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this ride was! It was the perfect blend of fun, fear, and awesomeness! I loved how many tree-choppers there were during the ride, and I thought it added an extra element of theming! My friends however, though they haven't trimmed enough around that area of the ride. As I said earlier, it's fun to watch the expressions of the incoming riders. I couldn't tell if the little girl was scared or happy, at least she didn't lose her hat! Oh my god, horses! They're all so cute! I mean, it's nice when a theme park also has animal viewing areas in the middle of the pathways! Also, chairswing in the background behind some huge bushes. Forest Splash was really fun! I especially loved the fact of how secluded it was in its location, I even saw some deer and a fox in the hills when I was on the ride! It had so many drops and lift hills! The final drop was the best part though, it was a 100 foot plunge into a huge pool with fountains that sprayed at you! I loved that feature as it got us far more wet than the actual splashdown itself! The Double Skywheel was great! I don't know who made this, but hats off to them for making it as intense and thrilling as it was! My friend Casey cried after riding it, that big chicken. Near the bathrooms, there's was this really popular animal viewing area, and apparently it was a ton of cute little Zebras! They seemed much less active than the horses, but they were much prettier. After a 10 minute wait, we got onto the Thunder Bobs, and I must say, they were quite satisfying. Casey screamed and was hanging onto me throughout the ride as we were going backwards, like I said before, Casey's a chicken. We also took a quick spin on the chairswings, and I liked that it was a calmer ride. I mean, at this point we needed to calm down! Although I don't call trying to bang into each others swing's is considered calm. Ha! There was no way I was going to try the Enterprise! Although I did see 2 couples exiting the ride complaining that they 'spilled their chicken bucket all over the inside of their carriages.' I didn't want to know what that meant. One of my positively favorite rides were the canoes. It was relaxing to paddle across the calm, open waters of the River Night, which the park is named after. I even got this really awesome coaster shot of the 2 trains, one on the airtime hills, and one on the lift-hill! Ah, I love the sound of happy screaming in the afternoon. Unfortunately, it was beginning to rain at this point, so the canoes closed. Also, I was even sadder when the teachers rounded us all together so we could go back to the school, I loved this park so dearly! Oh well, it all's gotta end sometime. Time to board the big, yellow, and not school buses! As we drove away, I got one last photo on the reel of the tourists going down the main hill of Tri-State Troubles, oh how I wish it were me! This trip was awesome, and I can't wait to come again soon! Also, in the queue's I heard a lot of people discussing rumors for a possible new ride in 1978?! I don't think that it'll be to big, but we'll have to see when the time comes around!
  19. Mean Streak at CP had me out for a few seconds...
  20. I was riding Top Thrill Dragster. Instead it went into space before the ride became a space Intamin mega lite O_o. The ride went around the world and ended with me exiting through the Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios) exit that lead into a Disney world park with Cedar Point rides like Millenium Force and Gemini... Also half the park was upside down on an invisible ceiling...
  21. My friend claims the "Judge Roy Scream" is the reason she doesn't like roller coasters, because it's so rough and scary
  22. I'm planning to go on Goliath at SFGA in summer! I don't travel much so it'll be huge!
