Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
Cullvion replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't remember when or where I saw it, but I remember seeing pictures of comments on a page saying how people can not ride Goliath at SFGA because they will "fall out of their seats" and "the whole thing will fall apart on opening day" Does anyone have those pictures? -
Guess this Coaster! (By the Layout)

Guess this Coaster! (By the Layout)

I guess since they aren't going to go, I'll put my coaster in for people to guess. (Sorry for the bad quality, I can't draw) -
The "Pleasant/Unpleasant Surprise" Thread
Cullvion replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Pleasant Surprises: Thunderhawk(Michigan's Adventure): Oh yes, it's a Vekoma SLC. Don't get me wrong, this ride is TORTURE. It gave me a HEADACHE, made me feel AWFUL, it was PAIN and AGONY, BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! Rock-and-Roller Coaster feat. Aerosmith (Hollywood Studios): Really Forceful and amazing! Blue Streak: For such an old coaster, it really packs a punch! Millenium Force: I don't really know about the rest of you, but this ride EXCEEDED my expectations! It was fast, had lots of airtime on the hills, and was just a great overall experience. Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom): You know, for a ride made by Disney, this roller coaster is actually VERY intense and kind of scary too. Unpleasant Surprises: Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome): The worst headache on a roller coaster, ever. Magnum XL 200: The first half of the coaster was really fun! But the airtime hills in the tunnels BRUISED my legs. Mean Streak: "Wow this looks like fun!" (10 Minutes Later): "Kill me." Stitch's Great Escape! (Magic Kingdom): Bad. Just bad. -

Dark Ride Idea Thread
Cullvion replied to tarheel1231's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Kind of violent don't you think? I have this idea for a dark/thrill ride where every ride experiece is different because the cars constantly go through different paths, and go through some pretty cool elements, but I think it would probably be too expensive or space-taking to build. -
Mean Streak, there is SO MUCH SHAKING! Seriously, that ride did NOT feel safe in September 2010.

Canyon Blaster at Adventuredome. I went with a bunch of other people, and they ALL loved it, but I got such a bad headache and almost threw up afterwards! I MIGHT try it again, since the last time I rode it was in 2008, and for all I know it may have become the best coaster in the world by this point!

"No Single Riders" policies.
Cullvion replied to frost man's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I honestly have never had a problem with the single rider policy, I just get in with someone else that's also a single rider, it's not that big of a deal to me. I think it's fun to watch their reactions on the ride! -
What is your next park?
Cullvion replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's either going to be: Michigan's Adventure Kennywood Six Flags Great Adventure Hersheypark or Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It's so hard to choose the one I want to go to! -
How's the airtime on ST? One thing I noticed about CCI coasters is that their standout quality is their intensity, however while they have airtime it's not the ejector type that you will find on, for example, Intamin coasters. Grant you I haven't ridden ST or Boulder Dash, I have read reviews stating that they do have great airtime as well as reviews that say that their airtime is overstated. For the most part it seems as if the coasters, regardless of manufacturer, with ejector-type airtime are designed with hydraulic restraints in mind. The airtime on Shivering Timber varies by seat really. I know this since it's the park I go to the most since I live near there. If you want airtime, go in the middle-back, because the front is really where you mainly get views more than anything. Overall, the ride itself is really awesome! It has a lot of airtime and it's gotten quite smooth with some re-trackings! It's a must-do at the park!

MEAN STREAK or Canyon Blaster at Adventuredome.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Cullvion replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did she ride well? I have to take a work trip to Muskegon next week and I'll be going to the to ride M-Th. I've ridden it every time I went there, and it does ride pretty well, except watch out for this one part where you go through a trick-track element because it can either be very smooth or very rough (it mainly depends on conditions for that day) -
