CorkscrewFoley Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I always thought Kumbas colours were really nice.
Cixot Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I love silver/grey supports with either light blue or red track. I think they fit well together. Like Diamondback and FireHawk at Kings Island.
dragsterfan420 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I don't know why but I love the purple track and supports, plus the orange trim of Vortex at KI. But I also like GASM's and the (original) Racer's colors of red track trim, white supports, and blue handrails.
RctInfinity Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I like Montu's color scheme a lot. The colors, especially the supports, seem to fit the Egyptian theme very well.
atem122 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I'm a fan of Arrow Corner at SFMM, Tatsu and Deja also have awesome colors
Jcoaster Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 1. Talon 2. Fahrenheit 3. Stormrunner 4. Alpinegiest 5. Dominator
doom1001 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I hear that when Dueling Dragons closes in a couple of months for the Potter change the track will be painted in darker colors.Even though I like it now,it would be cool to see a change, maybe one of them a dark, dark green with black and the other one a dark red with black.I'm not a huge fan of Potter or the changes to the Lost Continent as it was an already cool land, but I've come to terms with the change and excited to see them and how the dragons will look in half a year or so.
Maverickrocks Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 My favorite color scheme by far is Raptor's. It doesn't really fit the name, but the scheme of the track really makes the ride look good in its setting, and the colors of the station seem to blend perfectly with the scheme and look really cool. Â I also really like those of Hydra Talon Medusa Goliath at SFFT and many others as well
MASH80554077 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I always liked Scream!'s paint job, even though it is a little random. Fahrenheit also has a really cool temperature paint theme. I also always liked the shine on Great Bear's trains and the three different colored trains on Raging Bull.
paulie123 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Rage at Adventure Island! I think the pink goes really well with the yellow.
DBru Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 ^It looks alright, but I don't really think light pink and yellow really fit the name "Rage."
cinciDAWGS12 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Has anyone noticed that most of them are B&M creations? Â My favorite are Maverick and Diamondback. Also, Nemesis at Alton Towers looks great with the faded colors.
LiveForTheLaunch Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I like almost anything bright.. Ye olde Xflight comes to mind, back at Geauga Lake. Come to think of it, I liked Thunderhawk's old colour scheme as well; the new one it has at Michigan's Adventure is not nearly as nice. Â Nitro and Behemoth are two I really like, as is Medusa/Bizarro (whatever).
jjb297 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 An old topic, but I feel that Patriot has the best color scheme. I love the white lining on the coaster. The white lining with the red looks fantastic.
Skycoastin Steve Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Agree on Manta, it's simply a stunning ride. Patriot, as well.
Jness3 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I have always liked Dominator at KD's color scheme. Orange and blue just go so good together. Talon has a fantastic color scheme as well. I'm also a fan of Apollo's Chariot's colors. They just make the ride seem so much more....royal and majestic, that's just what comes to mind.
Swiminn6 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Manta, I really like the colors together, I also like Fahrenheit at Hershey Park but Manta really stuck out to me.
atem122 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 X2. The red and black towering over the driveway into the park just screams badass
Swiminn6 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 X2. The red and black towering over the driveway into the park just scream badass  Forgot about that, that's a good one too.
mudvayneimn Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Although I normally can't stand so much red, Diamondback at KI has a very pretty scheme, as does Vortex and Titan at SFOT. Â Sometimes coasters look amazing being one solid color, the old scheme of Mr. Freeze comes to mind. My favorite solid color scheme would have to be Chang's original color scheme. Although I also have a strong distaste for yellow, there was nothing more amazing than seeing a glowing mass of yellow steel blinding you driving on the highway with a mostly overcast sky...too bad I couldn't find any photos of that scenario....
The Big So-So Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I've always liked the classic white and red woodies. < Giant Dipper, for instance.
