  1. Am I the only one who thinks they're doing an overhaul to Thunder Run, and adding the guns to each car? It's just this weird feeling I have had since they announced it...
  2. Got my first Wacky Worm credit this summer. Ride op wasn't very good, my lapbar didn't lock until the ride was finished...
  3. So judging from the pics and report, the looping wild mouse is gone?
  4. These are very cool Shane...I have some Astroworld park maps a friend gave me ten years ago...need to dig 'em out now.
  5. This is true...although the GP thinks that Levi is the better of the two because it's taller and faster...
  6. Miner's union: Va theme park attraction an insult[/size] Posted: Oct 26, 2013 3:50 PM EDT Updated: Oct 26, 2013 3:50 PM EDT By Associated Press RICHMOND, Va. - The union representing America's mine workers is speaking out against a Virginia theme park's Halloween attraction that depicts an underground mine disaster. The United Mine Workers of America is raising concerns about Kings Dominion's "Miner's Revenge" Halloween Haunt attraction. The Doswell amusement park's website describes it as miners that were left entombed deep underground following a mine disaster searching for the men who left them to die and get revenge. In an email statement, union spokesman Phil Smith said the attraction is an insult to the memories if the thousands of miners who have died in America's mines. A spokesman for Kings Dominion did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment on Saturday. The Halloween Haunt event began Sept. 27 and runs through Sunday. 7. I talk...if I'm with someone, I'll talk with them, if not, I'll chat it up with people in the queue with me. What's funny enough is that I'm not this social (without drinking) outside of parks.
  8. I didn't think Thunderhead was rough...had five rides on it that day. As for Gwazi, I myself would rather just see it torn down for something else...But if you're going to put a coaster in, a compact hyper or giga would do the trick...
  9. Windsor/Detroit area...we had Boblo Island in Amherstburg, Ont., and it was accessible from four different ports...
  10. Maybe it's just me, but a smaller one like this would be more impressive than a 300 footer...It's odd enough that I have been watching POVs of the smaller dive machines.
  11. Everest and Rock'n'Roleercoaster...I want to say Big Thunder, but it's not a Vekoma...
  12. I know The Bat's layout is a clone of CW's Vortex (which is one of my favourite coasters), but I wonder how it compares both ride wise and the surroundings...
  13. Tennessee Tornado @ Dollywood...I've been on coasters with higher Gs, but I fracking stumbled off the ride...
  14. I ride with my hands up, sometimes I'll reach for the grab bar or the side of the seat if I get a strong pop that totally surprises me...what I don't do...devil horns...there I said it. lol I'm also one who loves to be thrown around, and that's why I put my hands up...
