Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread
Jness3 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Off Topic, but I am going soon and I was wondering, does Fahrenheit still have like a 2 hour wait? It has for the past two years now and I'm just wondering how the line is this year. -

^ That's how I feel lol. I thought that the airtime on Nitro was good, but just not as good as AC's. I do love that helix on Nitro though! -

When I rode front row like a month ago, I noticed very little rattling....and it was very smooth. Not one headbang. -
Six Flags America (SFA) Discussion Thread

As much as SFA desperately needs a new ride of some sort to the actual park, is it just me that thinks a simple way to make the park look way better would be to simply add some trees around the park? I mean one of the main reasons I dislike SFA is because of the lack of shade and barren look of the place. It would look SO much better with a few more trees here and there near the midways, rides, and other areas. A new ride doesn't hurt either though. -

Thanks man, and no, I didn't get any other angles from the waterpark, but yes, I got that one shot from the first wave pool. I305 can pretty much be seen from anywhere in the waterpark though, it's very impressive looking. -

The ride seemed awful fast today to just be 80mph. I could barely keep my eyes open, but hey, if it is only 80, then it's still a sweet ride -

Oh yeah, of course KD will advertise it at going 94. I heard from someone on a forum that it goes 85. I'm not sure if it is a reliable source though, since it was just one person saying it. -

Even though I305 is slower, it's still fast! IMO people on here are overreacting way too much. Did anyone hear about a confirmed new speed of the ride now though? -

Wasn't the problem with the wheels being chewed up everyday the main problem? If the trims don't fix the blacking out problem, then I hope they remove them. But, If the trims fix the wheel problem, I think it's a good chance they'll stay. -

I really hope that they will wait until Memorial Day weekend is over until they do this. Let me ride I305 in it's full glory once, King Dominion, at least once! -

Speaking of Superman, I went to SFA this past Saturday, and only the blue train was running. I saw maintenance workers working on the red train. They seemed to be working on the wheel assemblies, but I'm not sure... -
Best and Worst Rapids Ride
Jness3 replied to nhman93's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love White Water Canyon at KD, the feeling of being deep in the woods is awesome, and it gets you soaked! Roman Rapids is an okay rapids ride, the scenery is nice and the waterfalls at the end are crazy! The worst that I have been on would be Renegade Rapids at SFA, lame excuse for a rapids ride. Doesn't even get you wet! -

I was so dissapointed in the Fright Fest Six Flags had lat year. My friends and I got bored because there wasn't anything really scary there. They need to replace Brutal Planet soon. Also, they could at least of had the people in costumes walk around the whole park, when I went, they were only in the Coyote Creek section of the park, which is one of the smallest sections in the park. As for a new coaster, SFA needs one. Plain and simple, just SOMETHING new to attract people to the park. A Superman revamp would be nice too, but maybe just a tunnel with fog somewhere on the ride, no need for any theme or name changes in my opinion. -

Storm Runner, the launch is right by you and the ride can be seen from a lot of places. -

I also think Millennium Force's sign looks cool just because of how big it is. Not my picture by the way.

Even John Pagal (KD PR Manager) said he was not completely sure what the harnesses would be like, but most think they will be similar to the coaster in this youtube video. Should we give it a name? How about Finish Line. I'd stay peeled to the webcam for the rest of the day! I like the name, or considering its color and the events that went on over summer I'd go with Whyte Lightening. Oh okay. Thanks man. That's what I thought they would use too, but I just wanted to check if anyone knew anything else. I'd be glad if they used those, at least there wouldn't be as much head banging! (if there is any.)
