I don't think anyone realizes just how amazing that first drop is. WC's first drop was almost exactly like a shorter version of El Toro, while this looks just like a shorter version of EGF's. In the back row I suspect some killer ejector heading down hill, with a very jarring right turn which should provide some sweet laterals as you're experiencing strong ejector. IMO it will likely be one of RMC's 3 best first drops yet.

The ride itself is looking much better in real life than it did in the animation. Even if it is RMC's weakest layout of 2016, it should still be a top 3 coaster in the state, and one helluva addition.

I saw the drop a few weeks ago on Pacific rim's soft opening. it always looks dinky in photos because the 80 degree "drop" doesn't last too long before it curves into the turn. However the drop on roar was always fun and this is going to be just like that only with a great inversion for the first hill. I can never remember what they are calling that first inversion, it always sounds like a skateboarding trick.

Do you guys like The Joker next to Medusa? I feel like the park is so tiny they could come up with another color scheme. Instead of having two coasters of the same track color. I mean, granted The Joker is mainly brown wood, it still bothers me deep down.

not to mention the green is only on one rail. Not a big deal.

Today, TPR got invited for a construction update tour of The Joker! They are doing an amazing job at transforming Roar into The Joker. There is still quite a lot to do, but what they have finished looks amazing and we can't wait to see more! Thanks to Marc from SFDK and the Rocky Mountain Construction team for giving us a tour of the construction!

They've done it again! They've switched the exit of the roll out of the stall from the animation. The animation shows a clockwise roll, stall, and clockwise roll exit. Now you can see by the steel ledgers that it's a clockwise roll, stall, and counter-clockwise exit - Much like Goliath and Twisted Colossus!

It's extra funny, because TC's animation had the same thing, and it was changed in real life too!

I am very glad that with the new I-Box coasters they are developing the track with no paint in the spot where the wheels will run. For some reason the paint rubbing off on the wheels caused a lot of issues with previous installations, especially WC, so it's nice they've fixed it. It is weird that it looks like they did the stripping manually, though, as the strips seems uneven around the edges. Either way, it should be running at top condition from the start.
