Intaman
I had a rather quiet 2016 with some more regional trips during the summer to Adventureland, Kentucky Kingdom, Cedar Point, King's Island, Arnold's Park and some earlier winter travels to Florida and the Northeast for alpines. Hopefully, I get to a few more parks in 2017. Right now, I am hoping to get back to BGW, Knoebel's, SFNE, and of course, Dollywood for Lighting Rod (at last!). But, if not those, than I traditionally try to do CP, KI, and Holiday World.

prozach626
Our plans always change at the last minute. Our only definite is Kings Island, since we took this year off from our favorite park. Aside from that, what I have in mind is: Kentucky Kingdom Hershey Park Kennywood I'd also like to tack on Knoebels to the Kennywood/Hershey Park trip and maybe add another trip to Holiday World, which is only three hours away. Unfortunately, everything is up in the air, since it looks like Emily is going to be laid off sometime within the next few months. Good times. On a side note, 2016 was a good year: WoF, Carowinds, CP, BGT, SWO, with another trip to Carowinds booked in the fall (which unfortunately we couldn't back out on) and HITP @ SFSTL in December. cookiex
Outside the local parks (Tivoli, Bakken, Liseberg) and the done deals (Hansa Park) my grand trip for 2017 will be either: Germany tour This trip will include three parks: Phantasialand, Movie Park Germany and Europa Park. PL and MP have/will have coasters I'm very excited to try out (Taron and Star Trek: Operation Enterprise) and I was such a big fan of Europa Park when I made my first visit earlier this year that I'd definitely make my way back there again. If time and money can be allocated I'll make a bonus trip to Heide-Park. Even though I was disappointed with the park during my first visit, I'd like to give it a second chance, especially if they manage to fix up Colossos. Spain tour This one is a bit more ambitious than the Germany one, but it also includes three parks: Parque Warner Madrid, Parque Des Attractions and Port Aventura. This means a trip entirely consisting of new parks and even though I don't expect any of them to stack up to Europa Park, I'm still excited to check them out. Which one I'll pick depends on financing and time in the end. I could have both if I could afford it, but that probably won't happen. Luckily, we're pretty conservative with our spending, so we can live off of either of our incomes alone. At least we don't have to worry about being in the poor house. It just means less money for vacations or car parts... which blows.
