This is up on the green wall that surrounds the consrtuction area

 

 

 

They have the area totally blocked off

Overview. And there is a vary large hole in the ground near the train station. Lokks like there will be water.

The colors on this ride looks good, and is very fitting for the area -- thankfully the park chose the colors wisely so that it won't clash with its surroundings.

Those pics look sweet. I think that if this is gonna be a family oriented coaster instead of for thrills, it'll be awesome going through trees and the landscape. I have to give props to KBF.

Im a bit dissapointed there not doing it to Euromirs style but I hope this will prove me wrong.

In the graphic on the first picture the ride seems to twist around a mountain of some sort. Does anybody know if Knott's is planning on building a mountain for this ride to go around?

Aha it looks like a another spinning dragons but a more longer track and longer trains.LOL Can't wait to ride it!!!!!!

^^ From all the concept art I have seen there was never a mountain of any notable size that I saw.

That's what I thought. It seems odd to me that they would so prominently show it twisting around a mountain and through the trees.

I think it looks amazing once the coaster actually went vertical. It may be a family coaster, but I think it will be a fun ride for all.

WOW! It looks a whole lot better now that it is off the ground. Oh and Guy, the ride would go up many points in my book if they added a mountain. But of course, knowing Knott's, it's never gonna happen. Thanks for the pics!

Remember Perilous Plunge and the oil derrick it was supposed to have in the theming. Sierra Sidewinder = ditto.

 

I'm still not crazy about the colors. It's about the same color scheme that Jaguar! had when it was new---red track on light brown supports. Works for the area, though, honestly, a green track would have looked better, or green supports with brown/tan track.

 

Eh, I'll ride it anyway.

That's kind of different. In the press release announcement for Perilous Plunge, the 90-foot oil derrick prop was supposed to be one of the highlighting points of the ride, as the boats shoot through it down the drop.

 

With Sierra Sidewinder, there was absolutely no mention of a faux mountain/hill.

It's about time this thing went erect (go ahead and laugh, boys). It'll definitely be a fun ride, but I'm interested in how they theme it. Looks groovy so far, though.
