WindSeeker was a popular attraction with our guests, giving nearly 500,000 rides after its June 21 opening, Seth. Not everyone comes to the park to ride roller coasters. There has to be a balance between thrill rides, family rides and attractions, kids rides, and water park.

 

That's not the first time KI's responded to something in this manner, but I really haven't seen other parks confront someone like this on Facebook.

That really is awesome to see a park respond to stupid comments. I wish more parks did that.

I think cedar points demise has begun with the Dino's and now this. Wild Cat is a quick fun thrill. Try removing that disaster of a coaster Disaster Transport or maybe Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Terrible management.

 

Terrible management when they are getting rid of an eye sore where their new 6 million dollar light show is taking place, right......bad management.

On the CP Facebook page, they uploaded a picture of MF's first drop getting people excited for opening day. Outside of the abundant use of the oh-so-annoying "the" before every ride name, it wasn't too bad. Except for this:

that ride is dangerous. thrill is one thing, but watching the whole ride shake from side to side on the way up and down. seen older woodies do that before they crashed off the tracks.

Yea, I was thinking about that, But I know it's the G-Fores that keeps the people onto their seats because it has speed when it goes through the inversion. Superman, On the other hand, It has breaks just before the inversion, Slowing it down for a SLOW inversion. Yea, No forces keeping you on your seat when you go through that twist

 

Not being tied down to your seat =/= falling completely out. Plus, why would any park spend millions of dollars installing a coaster that had the potential for people to fall out?

It seems the most common argument is "you're slapping your loyal season pass holders in the face!". Really? What's funny about that to me is that Season Pass holders pay so little for the services they receive compared to non-pass holders. If fastlane is so bad, use your pass the way it was meant to be used and avoid Friday-Sunday.

 

Another (paraphrased) comment was something along the lines of "Well here we go. Corporate interest has come to Cedar Point at last. I had hoped this day would never come". Well if that's how you feel, sir, maybe you should go live in some socialist or communist regime somewhere, since that's what you prefer. At least then, everything's "Fair"

Ahh, that was a fun way to waste a night on the internet. Blaze, yes the guy's name is actually Blaze, has based his entire argument about one time at Kings Island where they waited four hours to ride Diamondback because Fast Lane people kept hopping back in line. Not sure he realizes how many people are needed to quadruple your wait time. Here's some more crazy.
