cfc
^The sad thing is, this is TOTALLY the GP Mentality. There are still people that don't believe me when I tell them that Apocalypse is a new wooden coaster and not just the old Psyclone. The worst decision SFMM made with that ride (and they made quite a few) was putting it in the same spot as the previous wooden coaster!!!! I've come across people who are surprised that wooden coasters are still being built. Edited August 30, 2012 by cfc
154bmag
^I've met people complain about CGA's Gold Striker being a wooden coaster.
molemaster43
A few from Great America's announcement about Gold Striker. It looks cool but I wish it hade more drops like the grizzly has looks just like the grizzly is this just a renamed GRIZZLY??? So Grizzly is still open? Why does 1 park need to have TWO wooden coasters? I guess this person never heard of Kings Island, which at one time had FOUR wooden coasters operating. I also don't know how people are even able to compare Gold Striker to Grizzly, really makes my head hurt. Also, Kings Dominion is currently operating four wooden coasters in Grizzly, Rebel Yell, Hurler, and Ghoster Coaster.
robman
^I knew there was another park that had that many, Kings Island just came off the top of my head. The other things with Great America GP is they still don't believe they are building a new coaster. Many think its the 49ers stadium.
Coaster_Fanatic
On Six Flags New England's page saying to stay tuned for the big announcement tomorrow Making prices cheaper would be nice! Disney world is cheaper go figure -_- I would love to know where she was able to pick up day tickets to WDW that are cheaper than Six Flags'. Maybe that person was talking about the parking! Twitch
They need to modernize not build another wooden coaster, they already have the grizzly, they need to be more like Six Flags.. Keeping the same ride ( The Grizzley) but just changing the name really ??? So Grizzly is still open? Why does 1 park need to have TWO wooden coasters? I wonder if they are going to tear Grizzly down when this one opens.. lol Brought to you by CGA's Facebook GP.

bbusic
Just because I’m new to the forum doesn’t mean I don’t have some hilarious conversations with the GP. Although not Facebook related, while I was in line for Wild Eagle my Dad asked me if my chigger bites were healing; someone behind us in line overheard and proceeded to ask if one could get bitten by chiggers by riding Wild Eagle. Andrewoplis
I found this on a picture of Superman at SFDK- This thing is in Six flags Chicago I think every coaster geek has heard "This is exactly like that ride" once in their life, but this is ridiculous! EDIT: I found another one on the same page- This looks like the one at magic mountain in Sacramento I don't even know what to think of this one.... A loop and inversion are two different things!!!! Huh? Hmmmm..... I don't even know what to say about these. Comments from the SFMM facebook page on the teaser picture of Full Throttle. imawesome1124
Saw this on KD's Facebook: I really find the Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt commercial just too disturbing. There are people out there who do not care to have those images burned unwillingly into their brain... including me not wanting my 3 year old stuck with those images as she tries to go to bed at night.... The commercial really should not run before 9pm.
CardCraze
Six Flags' FaceBook, on a picture of Bizarro (SFNE); Need some more excitement to it. The hills, at least from what we can see in the picture, look small. Plus, I'm not really seeing anything besides hills. Whilst I suppose this can be called a coaster, I wouldn't call it an awesome coaster. Kiddies, here is your coaster, I'll be over at Batman, Superman, Raging Bull, or V2. That picture attracted all kinds of dumbass comments. I hope the uside down part is out of frame....all coasters should go upside down. Kiddie... Too smooth and to slow. Wheres the thrill? kiddie coaster no loops or cork screws the bizarro in new jersey is ten times better, but this still looks pretty fun kiddie..... still would be kinda fun getting on. the world needs more coasters like goliath and tatsu mixxed. :/ I could go on, but reading the rest of the comments is actually making my faith in humanity deplete by the second. jjune4991
^How could you have missed this one? (Unless it wasn't posted when you looked.) That looks like the roller coaster that we all went on when I was pregnant with Angel and we were in the last cart. I know it came off the track. Scariest ride ever!!! australianalex
On King's Island Facebook page: I get soooo tired of reading posts from people still whining about SOB & being just plain mean when they say "good riddance & bout time its done"! I was taught that if u dont have anything nice 2 say, say nothing at all! We get it that some guests hated this ride but, the majority of us loved it & think its just rude & demeaning 2 speak the way some do about something we loved so much. I consider myself one of the lucky ones 2 have been able 2 ride SOB many times & have missed it greatly since it last operated! I remember in 2008 when we went & it was closed 4 the 1st time since we'd been riding! It was heartbreaking cause, we drove from Louisville mainly 2 ride SOB. Our hearts havent healed any, esp upon arriving every summer 2 see it just sitting there :'( I can only hope & pray that KI puts in another great "wood coaster" as a tribute 2 SOB! Really? People aren't allowed to have an opinion on a crappy coaster?
IronWolfman
On DL FB: "12 people on a single ride that takes an average of 8 minutes is ridiculous (load/ride/unload)..." Um, since when did it take 8 Minutes to load/ride/unload a S&S shot tower!?!
