PeggedSole
Has there been any mention of "comfort collars"?
robbalvey
It's an awesome coaster, but if you've ridden one clone, there's no reason to ride another clone except to be a credit wh*re. Sorry, I totally disagree with that. Are you saying that I shouldn't ride Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland because it's a clone of the version at Disneyland in California? Or that because I happen to actually *like* riding the Batman coasters and I ride them at each park that has one that makes me a credit whore? Â Being a "credit whore" would be going around the world and riding a bunch of cloned Wacky Worms and then making a post when you've ridden 100 of them as though that's some sort of accomplishment that deserves praise other than "congratulations, you're a giant nerd." But riding a couple of different Premier Riders launched coaster "sky loops" because they are actually a decent and enjoyable ride is not. Â Sorry, I just feel that was a really dumb comment. thesman
Has there been any mention of "comfort collars"? Well the official press release is in 20 min and thats when we will get all the info about the ride.
Koasterking48
Hoping this particular model includes the switch table in the station like Zombie Ride. It would really benefit the park. This addition looks to fit a park of this size really well.
chickenbowl
This coaster is the perfect coaster for Lake Compounce! I feel like any capacity issues are irrelevant for a park of this size. I'm glad LC is able to build another large coaster now. It'll look very impressive sitting in the park. Way to go, LC, good job!
michaellynn4
I don't know why I didn't consider one of these coaster types when thinking about what could be added. Talk about a pleasant surprise! It's going to be exciting having one of these only a couple hours away.
Paradox
Finally a launched coaster! I always thought SFNE would be the first in the area to add one. Â Hopefully this brings in a lot of business for LC and the park is able to expand more in the future.
Vtafro
Definitely a good reason to go back to lake compounce next year, if boulder dash wasn't enough. Now is Lake Compounce going to go with the normal restraints or the BGW version?
viking86
Not surprising to see more of these rides popping up. Great reviews, small footprint and highly marketable with a very high "wow factor". Should be a great addition to LC!
BoulderDash
Jerry said it will have lap bars only.
Koasterking48
I feel like any capacity issues are irrelevant for a park of this size True, I just wish it was standard with the model. Anyways, this model is perfect for a park of this size so it'll bring in a lot of business for Lake Compounce.

It's great to see more of these Sky Rocket coasters being installed now. I still haven't ridden Tempesto yet, despite being two and half hours away from BGW, but they look like a lot of fun. Paradox
I still wish that they went with the double station and double cycle model like Zombie. It would be great if it had that, but I'm still excited about the launch factor of the ride.  Hopefully the next coaster wont be 15 years away. VegasBaby
I rode Superman at SFDK for the first time last week and it was a lot of fun. I loved the multiples launches, the airtime when you pop over the top, and the hangtime in the heartline roll. I'm glad that we are seeing more of these Premier launched coasters and this will be a great addition to LC.
SoCal_Coaster
Looks like a great addition to the park! There is very few downsides to adding one of these to any park. Thumbs up for Lake Compounce; great choice!
KBrylczyk
These rides are excellent and I'm super happy to see Premier has found such huge success with them. Â Now I can't wait to see the 4D Free Fly start popping up everywhere. Practically the same footprint and a huge crowd pleaser, as well.
robbalvey
I would just like to be the first person to point out that when this ride was rumored and then announced coming to Busch Gardens, there were pages and pages and pages and pages and pages of people bitching and complaining to the point where it made people's eyes bleed. Then the ride opened and all that went away. Now another one of these rides gets announced for Lake Compounce and it's like the best thing ever. Â Keep in mind I was always in the camp of "these are SOLID rides and good additions for any park, including Busch Gardens" so I'm happy to see more of them getting built. But I couldn't help to rub a little bit of "I told ya so" in the faces of all the naysayers that complained about it when BGW was putting one in. Â At least on a positive note for Lake Compounce the volume of online complaining should be at a minimum now. KBrylczyk
Agreed. Premier has been scoring with this particular model lately, and BGW guests really like Tempesto. Â Premier has been scoring huge with everything they've built ever since they realized OTSRs aren't necessary. I've yet to ride an unpleasant Premier with a lap bar. robbalvey
and BGW guests really like Tempesto. Of course they do! Because it's a really fun ride and should be at more parks! And all BGW has done is proven how wrong obnoxious coaster dorks can be. And this makes me happy! Edited July 10, 2015 by robbalvey
Hilltopper39
I wonder if the dual station could be added to Temepsto later if the thing continues to have long lines? Seems like that ride with a a higher capacity is an amazing option for parks that size going forward.
gerstlaueringvar
This is like Mega-Lite, you can put it anywhere and guests would love it. Â LC has a winner on their hands! Congratulations to Premier Rides on their success as well!
MagnumFreak25
This will be a great addition for the park definitely. Do we know if this is getting a double station or 3 car trains? Or if its just the standard verision.
Paradox
^It is just the standard version. No dual station and the train will have 2 cars.
