neil009 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I'm hoping for another launch coaster like Wicked. I REALLY wanna ride one of those.
Coaster Hero Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 It's time LC got the custom steel coaster that will make them a must visit park. That, with Boulder Dash, will be a pretty good 1-2 punch
Brassinthegrass Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 It's near the Enterprise? Didn't Huss just release the idea of the Huss Enterprise 2G? Could that be what's coming?
Rai Fox Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Doesn't seem likely; the Enterprise there isn't a big enough draw. It never really has lines at all. I can't imagine them replacing it with the same ride.
Genx24 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Phobias, and, more specifically, arachnaphobia? Perhaps it's a tease for something new in their haunt.
mike okay Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Since the announcement is scheduled for next weekend I'm thinking this might be a new major attraction. Or at least I could hope. They also seem to be teasing about a coaster on their Facebook page with responses to comments.
Genx24 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Ok, my final guess: indoor spinner themed to fears, similar to Laff Trakk.
larrygator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Ok, my final guess: indoor spinner themed to fears, similar to Laff Trakk. Â My thoughts are along the same line at this point.
Jcoaster Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I really hope it is this long overdue coaster. An indoor spinner of sorts would be real nice, but who knows maybe they have even something bigger up their sleeves
DirkFunk Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Heard an interesting rumor about a coaster: something bigger than a spinner. We'll see.

neil009 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 I'm hoping they're replacing their dark ride with something actually scary. I thought the facade was way too cool for what's inside.

SoCal_Coaster Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 This project has polar coaster written all over it
DirkFunk Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Heard an interesting rumor about a coaster: something bigger than a spinner. We'll see. Can you tell us about said rumor? Â What I heard it would be (and this box seems haunt related to me btw) I'd rather not say for some legit reasons, but what I would say is that from I understand it was kinda chosen to go to that park by Palace rather than Lake Compounce having a budget for capex and saying, "oh we want one." I also don't 100 percent believe it and I'm not putting my name on a rumor I don't believe in fully.
linearinduction Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 I'm hoping for another launch coaster like Wicked. I REALLY wanna ride one of those. As far as I know, Lake Compounce hasn't Ridden Wicked, however, the Kennywood Operations Team and Lagoon's were pretty darn tight many years ago when I worked there. I do know people from Kennywood and a park in Japan visited Lagoon to Ride Wicked in 2007. I also know Knoebel's and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk visited Lagoon in 2012, and both took a gander at Wicked and Spider.

I do know people from Kennywood and a park in Japan visited Lagoon to Ride Wicked in 2007. Â And it shows...watch a POV of Sky Rocket and Wicked back to back and tell me the former wasn't at least partially inspired by the latter, especially with the first halves of both rides.

Wow I actually never saw the similarities between Sky Rocket and Wicked. I really hope we do get something like Wicked as that would be awesome!  Also Â

Yeah, Sky Rocket looked like Wicked from the Very Beginning. The first half has basically the same Elements, except Sky Rocket is Banked to the Right up into the Safety's.
Jcoaster Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 ^ That last "Speed of Fear" clue is a promising new one coaster wise.
