A post here or there is fine

I do have a little update, well more of a conclusion really.

But anyway:

--My now ex-bf was really concerned about me when I was telling him about how people are treating me. He voluntarily went into the counselor's office and told him about it, so later I went in there to talk to the counselor about it. He said that he would talk to the "bully" or whatever you want to call him. Well, he did, and now me and that guy are, not friends, but we talk every now and then, and help each other with stuff, which is a BIG step considering he would cuss at me if I even looked in his direction.

--That guy that I liked a long time ago is still and a$$hole.

--There are tons of rumors going around the school, but no one ever confronts me about them, so its cool. The only problem is that if they ever get around to any of the faculty, I would get in trouble with the law, even though NONE of the rumors are true! But yeah...

--And here's a funny one...There is a junior at my school who is known as "The Official School Gay Guy". Everyone knows him, and everyone knows he's super, super gay. Well, he came up to me one day and said, "In two years I will be graduating, so I officially choose you to carry on my legacy once I leave." So now I get to be the School Gay Guy! Yay!

I don't know if being the 'token' gay guy is ever a good thing

  • 1 month later...
I have a girlfriend so that makes me 100% straight.

--James

I hope that was a joke.

I'd be willing to bet that most gay guys have had a "girlfriend" at some point. I had one at 14 too...even though I knew that I really wanted a boyfriend instead. I know many, many gays and lesbians that have been married and have children as well...so simply having a partner of the opposite sex at any given time doesn't make you straight. You may very well be 100% straight, but not because of your girlfriend. I could start dating a girl tomorrow...I'd still be gay.

I'll back you up on that 110%. I had a girlfriend at 13. But that's the last time I had one lol. People don't understand that gay guys HAVE in fact had girlfriends, but when you tell them that, they're like, "You're not gay!" Well, that may just be true among people my age, but you get the point. And I'm also with you that when I had a girlfriend, I'd rather have a boyfriend. I can't take care of no damn girl

^No what's irony is one of my friends....

His father and mother were married for about 15 years, then BOTH decided that they were gay and divorced. Now both them them have partners; my friend lived with his father (and the father's boyfriend) and then came out. Now the whole family is gay except for the daughter and they call her the "Black sheep" of the family!

Thats all true. But usually if you have a girlfriend, that means your straight. Maybe only 10 percent might have a girlfriend and still be gay. But I'm in the 90 percent of people.

So I'M still 100 percent straight!

^Trust me, a LOT more than 10 percent of gays have had girlfriends and even get married and have kids. It's simply because sometimes it's just too hard to be able to come out depending on what situation your in and you conform to the ways of those around you. It must really suck for those that have to live like that, but really a lot do. And especially around your's and my ages, many gays will still get a partner of the opposite sex.

When I first admitted to myself that I'm gay, I was still planning on no one ever knowing, having a wife and kids, and then maybe a secret boyfriend on the side. Glad I grew out of that one.

have had a couple of girlfriends, last one freshmen year, and have recently come out to my friends and parents, and on sibling, being my sister. It really bugs me though, cuz everyday my mom tells me I should date my best friend. It's weird, cuz she's a girl and I'm just not like that.. anymore HA!
