I think that's one of the best, it's got fantastic acceleration, and the perfect speed over the hill - slow enough you can see everything, fast enough to give powerful airtime.

Ive only been on 2..Storm Runner and TTD..I like storm Runner better..It has inversions and the snake dive thing just felt weird..Also TTD was down for most of the day when I was there and i waited about 2 hours to ride it.. But was it worth it?? Yes just to experience it once in my eyes..Thats My Oppinion Though!..

Well from photos and what others have said, Kanonen and Storm Runner seem to be the best. However, since I've ridden only Kingda Ka, I can't compare to he others. Kingda Ka is a great ride, maybe it was the fact that there was no wait when I rode it, and while not a top 10 if you've ridden as many coasters like other members,(it is 8, and my count is 51) it is still a damn good ride. There was only a slight rattle, and the launch and drop are amazing.

I voted for Kanonen. I have never ridden any of these rides, but from layout I think Kanonen takes the cake. All those compact turns, it just looks so fun. And I like how the top of the hill is kinda slow so its like a slow-mo moment in a crapload of fun.

P.S. You forgot Maverick! And Stealth!

P.S.P.S If you want videos of these rides here they are...

^Aside from the thread being a year and a half old, Maverick isn't an accelerator coaster.

Anyway, of the ones I've been on, Storm Runner easily wins. It's not a one trick pony, it's a very unique ride, the launch is sick, and it really packs a punch. I could ride it over and over.

1. Maverick, not sure if this counts but I really enjoyed it personally.

2. Top Thrill Dragster, definitely a top thrill, intensity makes up for lack of elements.

3. Superman Escape, a real surprise packet, excellent theming for a thrill coaster and some great airtime.

4. Storm Runner, wasn't as impressed with this as I thought I would.

5. Xcelerator, insane airtime in the front rows, great launch.

6. Kingda Ka, disappointing, other than in the front it was so shaky that it killed the sensation of speed for me, could be much better with some maintenance.

I think that is all the one's I have been on.

TTD: sheer speed, sheer height, sheer ownage. KK and Storm Runner are the other 2 I've been on, KK just flat out hurts and stinks because of the restraints, and Storm Runner is amazing, but the rush on TTD wins it for me!

I have only been on Storm runner and Kingda Ka. Out of the two it is easily Storm Runner. It has an intense launch, ejector airtime, inversions, and banked turns. Need I say more?

1. Top Thrill Dragster: I think the theming, although not immersive, is somewhat underrated. The pre-launch portion of the ride really gets me psyched up, even to the point of being fearful. The launch is intense, and while I know not everyone feels airtime on the ride, I found some when sitting near the back. I like the views during the few seconds you're actually able to look around, and I appreciate how well the ride carries its speed.

2. Storm Runner: Great airtime and hangtime, interesting layout, unusual inversions, refreshing scenery...all done up in a nice Accelerator package.

3. Kingda Ka: Yes...I did enjoy this ride. The launch is forceful and the speed is satisfying. But yes, it's shaky, simplistic (without any of the extra benefits TTD offers), and has fairly restrictive restraints.

This poll needs to be updated. The answer is iSpeed.

Nope...Sorry Ginzo...ISpeed doesn`t count as it was build too late

But maybe we can change this thread ito something like : "Which Intamin Launcher dominated the mid ages"...something like that

1 - I just opened the thread to say iSpeed

2 - This is another reason we are not fond of polls at TPR

RCDB calls iSpeed a Blitz coaster like Maverick... I didn't ever consider iSpeed a accelerator. Has a Different launch system wasn't sure if LSM is capable of launching to 100+mph in the same amount of time as hydraulics so I didn't think to put in the same family (although is has a spectacular and very promising layout).

Superman is very very fun. The pre launch section is awesome and the acceleration is breathtaking. You also get some good airtime, and the back seat is quite intense so much so that I greyed out on my last ride for a couple of seconds on the first turn into the camelback.

And no, it's not the only one I've been on. I've also been on Rita and Stealth.

Also, the superman in the poll is the one at Movieworld, not SFMM. The one at Magic Mountain isn't even an accelerator.

And what about Furius Baco? Is the fastest coaster in Europe!! There are lots of Intamin Accelerators that you didn't mentioned! Like the one in Italy!
