DragonLord Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I rode a huge ferris wheel at Everland in South Korea, it was real rusty and shaky plus it was raining and windy. The thing was cracking and it really did feel like that it would fall over at any moment. I could see them calling my wife back in America and telling her that I died on a ferris wheel. Finally I got off and refused to even go close to it again.
ShoubraStreet74 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Insanity ans X-Scream  Those things are wayy too scary.
TheGreatOne Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Both woodies at Camden Park in West Virginia...it's honestly shocking that those things are both still standing! Size and speed really doesn't scare me, but the anticipation provides the rush. Â I'm sure Voyage will be the new-to-me ride this year where I'll be psyched up as I'm traveling the lift. I'm so lucky I'll be moving within a few hours of the park! I'm joining ACE for the discounted season pass there and discounts at PKI and IB as well. Â -Bryan "St. Paris, Ohio here I come" Wood
DATman Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 psyclone, because I know how much pain it will cause me
thrillrider1 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 any drop ride, they jsut insettle me. more afraid of drop zone then top thrill dragster.
nemesis-storm Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I'm happy to do any coaster, shot or drop tower. I've even done the sky coaster at Oakwood. Â The only ride I can think of that I'd be scared to do would be those Star Flyers
dropzone265 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I will ride anything out there but drop towers usually make me scared but that is the point aint it?
CoasterFreak24 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 SheiKra.. I think its kinda nerve racking as soon as you go up that hill.. and then you wait to just drop..
man Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I dont get freaked. I just jump on. Now the super tall waterslides are a whole other story. Also the skycoasters and slingshot (the two at the hilton hotel in reno are the best Ive been on) those just freak me out, but I just love ridding them.
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Drop towers definitely, except I am planning on going on Supreme Scream on Tuesday.
The Disneylander Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The only ride in which I genuinely freaked out on was X-Scream at the Stratosphere tower. I almost sh*t my pants...twice!
cal1br3tto Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I used to get nervous and psyched out on plenty of rides. Nowadays I'm usually just like, "Is this scary?...No." It's a few moments of apprehension before I realize that what I'm about to experience is excitement, not fear. I used to be particularly afraid of Ferris wheels, skyrides/ski lifts/gondolas, coasters, and drop towers. Of those, I would say that skyrides still make me a bit nervous. I'm not sure about Ferris wheels anymore, but I seem to be able to handle coasters and tower rides now. I'm on the lookout for the rides that will really scare me even now, and my guess is those will be the rides on top of the Stratosphere tower, plus some of the really tall and/or wild coasters out there (maybe X2? TTD? MF? I've been underwhelmed before, so I won't know until I try!)
PKI Jizzman Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Top Thrill Dragster makes me a little nervous. Â Steel Hawg is so insane, I'm always a little nervous during different elements. Â Lost Coaster makes me VERY, VERY, VERY nervous!
cooksta77 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 X-Scream and Insanity on the Stratosphere I sort of was a little nervous but they weren't that bad when I went on them.
Team Thriller Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Bandit at Movie Park cause I thought I was going to get my a$$ kicked. Luckily it was okay. Â --James
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Any OUTDOOR Drop tower. ToT is fine. Â Actually yeah. That's how I feel.
Satchboogie3 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I've been looking for a coaster/ride that made me nervous... haven't found it yet. If only they still made woodies like they used to.
Sunfire Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Defenitely Skycoasters. Getting pulled up the tower for the first time was one of the scariest moments for me. I kept thinking the cable would snap and I would fall to my death. However, after riding I loved it, and now I'm addicted.
TYTL Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Any carnival ride. Not the actual ride, the carnies operating them.
porisfreak Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Drop towers in general freak me out...I get ridiculously anxious about 3/4 of the way up even if it's a short fall.
WFChris Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Perilous Plunge at KBF. I get nervous every time. Freefall (rip!) at SFMM. Â Drop towers don't do it to me, I get more nervous on the elevator in the Sky Tower at SFMM. Something about large manmade objects at a high elevation freaks me out. Dams, for example also scare the crap out of me. I dunno. Â Chris.
Speeddeamon128 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 As of right now no rides scare me. However I am a little nervous with X2 which I will be riding for the first time next month.
eddie200330 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Any carnival ride. Not the actual ride, the carnies operating them. Â LMAO, no doubt the Carny Zipper has got to be the scariest ride out there!
Retro_Gaga Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Dive Coasters terrify me.... those holding brakes ughhhh. I'm riding griffon next week and am terribly nervous of going on just because I hate the anticipation of waiting to fall.
