Thrillrider15
I'm just curious to know what ride, or type of ride, makes you the most nervous? For me, it's any type of freefall ride (except for the S&S tower that shoot you up the tower). 8) ADMIN EDIT, please resize your pictures accordingly, next time I will just delete it. Thanks. ParkTrips
Acro overall, any Intamin launch if limiting it to coasters. edit: Zipper is a damn close #2. Scary as f----
Thrillrider15
Ya I know. Launches are probably the most nerve racking thing on a roller coaster in my opinion.
Imhotep
The Skycoaster in Oldtown and any of the rides on the Stratosphere make me pretty nervous. So does skydiving, if you can even count that as a 'ride' (Im sure some would).
lapseofreason
Yeah, the stuff on top of the Stratosphere is creepy. I have a picture somewhere of me waiting in line for Insanity the first time... man, did I look scared! It was scary as hell at first but now I love it X still freaks me out a little too. Thrillrider15
Ya I bet so. Is the High Roller coaster any good? Just curious.
dakanektr
I don't find the Zipper scary at all. Any SS or Intamin drop tower or rocket(or any other launch) coasters. I almost crapped myself while waiting in line for Storm Runner.
lapseofreason
Ya I bet so. Is the High Roller coaster any good? Just curious. It's a little scary the first time (since you're so freaking high up), but after that it's just fun. Also good 'cause it's the cheapest ride up there ($4 the last time I checked). Twister II
For me it was just Cedar Point in general! Cedar Point was my first "big" park. I was nervous for: Raptor Mantis Wicked Twister Power Tower Magnum Millennium Force and of course TTD But out of all of those, I think that TTD was really the most scared I have EVER been waiting in line, I sware I would wet my pants, but I didnt. But scariest on ride would be Millennium Force.
Thrillrider15
Ya I don't find a zipper nerve racking at all either. Those rides are pretty fun though.
ZipityDoDog
The zipper used to be my favorite carnival ride until I heard about the door flying open. Good thing the ride was not in full motion, still in the loading phase. I would probably still try it again if I get the chance.
Thrillrider15
Ya I bet TTD is nerve racking. I know someone who wet their pants on the ride.
nannerdw
I'm afraid to ride any 2nd gen. freefall ride becuase of the intense "losing your stomach" feeling; that's why I've never ridden one. I really should face that fear soon. I love the zipper, but it makes me sort of nervous to ride it, because it is scary to think about the g-forces that are pretty extreme when they are positive, but there is also a chance that I will be upside down on those parts and experience the most extreme negative-g's ever that make the blood rush to your head  !!! I was also afraid to ride coasters that launch right out of the station, such as wicked twister or Flight of Fear, but now I'm mostly over that fear. Thrillrider15
I don't blame you for not riding a freefall tower. They can be creepy. But i've never riden on a zipper and felt negative G though.
Thrillrider15
But for a roller coaster, it's the launch coasters.
Hattuchili
I think I would be nervous before riding Kingda Ka. I mean the top is so high. --Sören
calcajun
For me it is just about any new coaster. Just a little scared though. Probably due to fear of the uknown. After the first ride it is pure thrill and fun or pain depending on the coaster.
Scaparri
Unfortunately there isn't much that scares me anymore other than tall Intamin freefalls. Even those don't scare me a whole lot anymore. The wait to be dropped is agonizing. There is the traditional click that is the warning sign but there is still no really good sign exactly when you are going to drop. I'm not going to lie, I really miss being frightened on rides. I still get a big thrill nevertheless.
Stitch
No ride in particular makes me nervous, it is just waiting in a large crowd and being confined that makes me nervous :?
momo1tx
Intamin Freefalls are the scariest I've been on, though the S&S Turbo Drops scare me even more, for a ride I've never ridden.
socalMAN123
I'm scared of star flyers! Even though I've never truely been on one, they look freakin scary! ---Brent 8) I'd go on it, but I'd freakin pass out!
tinkerbell
^ I would definately pass out on that. Drop towers, except Tower of Terror. Just waiting to fall would scare me so much. I'm sure the rides on the Stratosphere would freak me out too, since I don't really like heights. Blazen_AZN
Ya I don't find a zipper nerve racking at all either. Those rides are pretty fun though. if you trust them they arn't nerve racking at all, i love the rides, but im just scared the dang thig will fall apart, heck i've already had the wheel that spun the ride fall off! oh, speaking of which, does the headfirst diving that you often do on a ziper relate in any way to the feeling on a flying rollercoaster? (PLZ TATSU!!!) the most nervous i get on any ride would probably have be going on Supreme scream.. no scratch that, THE FARRIS WHEEL OF DEATH at disney's claifornia adventure the most SCARED i have been on a ride would easily go to the stratosphere's big shot, when we sat down, and where there for a few minutes, and a couple people pulled down the restraints, noone had them buckled, and they werent locked. so then the ride ops walk by and ask us if were ready, then walk to dispatch thing and begins to countdown inatentively, 5... NOOO!!! 4... WAIIIT! 3... AHHHH 2... STOP!!! 1... "Yea, though I walk through the Valley of Death, I shall fear no evil..." 0! .. he presses a button and we scream like theres no tommorow as were launched upward..... about 10 feet... then they locked us in and buckled us up..
