Sportsdude360
I personally think this is going to be a great ride! I'm sure other parks will be getting these in the years ahead. They're affordable and don't take up a lot of space. Edited August 31, 2017 by Sportsdude360

Oh and btw, this park ALREADY HAS A SUPER LOOP!!! AHH!!! Coaster people, come on!!! Pretty much solely because no one has seen a Skywarp previously in an amusement park. That's my guess. I'm not really too excited by the Skywarp concept, but I'm also not hating on SFGAm's super loop - I'm actually really happy about it. This just doesn't look like my cup of tea but I'd be willing to try it if I ever make it out to SFDK. It looks like fun but it's not the most exciting thing to me. NOW, that wing coaster super loop concept o the other hand!! It's great to see that people like the announcement because I thought there wouldn't be much support behind it, especially at SFDK. I really expected one of these this year, but I NEVER thought they would place one of these in a park with a Superloop already, EVER. I had figured that these would replace the Super loops completely as new additions and the other parks would just be SOL.

I wonder how bad the Dare Devil Chaos Coaster's ridership will suffer with this addition to the park.
zburns999
Ha. The "70 mph combined speed" bit has to be one of the more misleading statistics thrown around this announcement season. In retrospect, might as well have advertised Kingda Ka as "traveling at face-melting speeds of 256 mph!...when running two trains, if one were to combine the speed of said trains." Still have yet to ride any of these newfangled, mass-produced Larson Loopers. Did one at the Jersey State Fair about ten years ago and it was ho-hum, from what I can remember. But hey, it's a new ride, so that's cool I guess. The other Six Flags announcements look awesome, at least.
djackson
I think we can all agree that this park needs to chill out on coasters for a bit. They've gotten 3 coasters in the past 5-6 years.

Totally forgot about that little gem, but that combined speed statistic is easily the most atrocious, blatant marketing hoax Six Flags could have ever contrived. I don't know if I can put the faith into people to not actually believe the ride goes 70mph. Six Flags, you're embarrassing us!

RAWKIN_coaster38
V2 not going away is the best news about this addition. I think most GP won't draw the connections between this and the Super Loop, and will go, "OMG new ride that looks completely different than anything I've ever seen!" I was intrigued with this concept when I saw it showcased at IAPPA and I'm very pleased that they somehow managed to stuff another ride into that area seemingly without removing anything. Although I probably will not ride this too often (and I don't ride the Super Loops either), I am still pleased with this addition.
scooterdoug
Interesting. While I'm admittedly underwhelmed with this announcement, it certainly looks more interesting than Dare Devil (I've only been on that twice, and I have no desire to ride it again). Once it opens, I could have similar feelings about it as I do towards Dare Devil, or I could end up enjoying it enough to ride it each visit. I'll just wait until I ride it to pass judgement. I was intrigued by it the first time I saw it showcased at IAAPA.
defrocker
Ha. The "70 mph combined speed" bit has to be one of the more misleading statistics thrown around this announcement season. I certainly get where you're coming for, but combined speed is how head-on collisions are measured. When passing the other train it'll give the illusion of 70mph, which is not a bad marketing pitch and kinda puts this in a different perspective (for me at least) Not saying I don't see the gripe, just saying it isn't completely outlandish. A.J.
In the end, it doesn't matter exactly which park the ride ended up in, because Skyline sold their first major attraction. Congrats to them, can't wait to see it built.
VegasBaby
I think the SkyWarp looks like a lot of fun and I'm excited to give it a try. It's nice to see SF putting another world's first ride at SFDK. The park got the first Sky Rocket II back in 2012 and now they are getting the first SkyWarp. I have to say that SF has done a great job with the additions at this park over the last 5-6 years and has really turned it into the premier park in NorCal. With the big plans that CF has in store for CGA, hopefully we'll continue to see big additions to SFDK.
Living_Dead
On my last trip here, I told myself I don't feel like coming back. Even without riding V2, I didn't really feel any push to come back and I don't really know why. However, now I think I'm going to have to come back
Myself
Definitely NOT where I would've envisioned a ride going. Clever use of space! Looks like the queue for Superman will need some adjusting, along with the big logo on the pathway.
Bubba
Whoa Whoa Whoa...why is everyone loving on this ride!!?!??! This is no different from the Super Loops that everyone hated on! Oh and btw, this park ALREADY HAS A SUPER LOOP!!! AHH!!! Coaster people, come on!!! My exact thoughts, especially if they are adding "coaster" onto everything. We already have a looper, V2, Superman, and Cobra for really short, forward & backward coaster experiences. Looks like a fun addition but between my two home parks in the Bay I'm going with Cedar Fair, as Trailblazer & Hangtime at Knotts looks awesome. Edit: I meant Boomerang instead of Cobra Edited September 1, 2017 by Bubba

CanobieFan
Not a fan of calling it a "coaster"... but the ride looks pretty crazy and a lot of fun! It's very unique too, and I think it'll be better than some expect.
MrSum1_55
So SFDK will have not one, but TWO rides mismarketed as coasters. Is that a record? In spite of all the misleading marketing, I do like this addition. While it is not nearly as exciting as CGA's, this still looks like a very fun ride nonetheless. It has also been great for a park on the smaller side to see so many fun new rides in a fairly short amount of time. I love what both NorCal parks are doing.
