WW1 Flying Ace
1. Georgia Cyclone 2. SOB 3. Mean Streak Nothing surprising.
sixflagsgadvguy1000
I have a tie of the 3 roughest coasters I have ever been on. - Rolling Thunder ( Six Flags Great Adventure ) - Cyclone ( Six Flags New England ) - Wildcat ( Hersheypark )

robbalvey
It's it really awesome to be able to take Texas Giant OFF this list?
braztaz
Dominator at KD has started to get really rough lately. Not unbearably rough, but it still gives me a headache.
DisneyDaniel
1. Mean Streak at Cedar Point. Never again. After three separate, excruciatingly painful rides on different trips, Mean Streak has struck out and been added to my list of "never again" coasters. 2. Manhattan Express at New York-New York, Las Vegas. This painful ride has been renamed "The Roller Coaster" -- how generic can you get?
alpengeistfan1
I haven't been on many rough coasters, at least ones that bother me. But the one that does the most is Rolling Thunder, that coaster seems to just have bumps intentionally put in.
cleusk
I would definitely say Son of Beast.
simon8899
After my visit to Vegas I've to say Manhattan Express (mostly awful) and Canyon Blaster (shaking support beams). Revolution was also bad but only due to the shoulder-restraints - this ride was never build for them, and that you can feel painfully. SFMM should take a look a how Knotts made it with Montezooma's Revenge - lapbars plus seatbelts!
Drachen77
I would have to say both Hurlers at King's Dominion and Carowinds were brutal. I don't think I have ever been so miserable on a roller coaster. Manhattan Express was pretty rough too, one ride was enough for me.
A.J.
- Wildcat ( Hersheypark ) I have to say, Wildcat hasn't been terrible ever since they fitted the new trains in 2007. I even consider it re-rideable.
Rydel
Another vote for Manhattan Express. The only coaster I would never consider riding again.
Audio111
Manhattan Express... Hopefully it will be replaced by a nice Intamin one day!
XYZ
Giant Dipper. Unless you're in the front, it is very rough and uncomfortable.
griffonj2022
Mean Streak at CP...in some seats it's fine, but in others OUCHH
the ghost
I'm not original in saying this at all, but Revolution. I really want to like the ride... its all hidden in the woods and has a god layout, but it's really beginning to hurt my ears. Probably the "roughest" coaster I've been on is Matterhorn, but it is the kind of roughness that I don't find at all painful and somehow actually improves the ride. I love that thing despite some people saying it beats the sh## out of them.
CoasterBeagle
A couple for me, The Beast at KI, Hurricane at SCBB and Magnum at CP
sfgamguy
The combination of the SLC and Villain at Geuagua Lake back in 2007! That was a back breaker mixed with a concussion! Luckily, I had the smooth Dominator to cure my pains.
summerof72
Thunderbolt at Kennywood....one of the greatest wooden coasters, but has been know to crack ribs when you put your arms up!! luckily has not happened to me, but i cant ride it anymore b/c of a bad back, go to the chiropractor and dont want to ask for trouble. I stick with 1 ride on the Jack Rabbit per visit (my favorite one by far) and that has to last me from summer to summer! also remember riding Raging Wolfbobs once at Six Flags when they took over Geauga Lake Park....that was rugged!! LeeroyBennagins
I'm curious, To all the people saying Son Of Beast, is the loop or the non loop version? I've heard the loop version wasn't that bad. I've never got to ride either, but i'm just curious.
