XII
I'd give Prowler my vote. There are plenty of others that also have good airtime such as Evil Kineval and Renegade, but Prowler just seemed the strongest to me.
DarkStitch626
My vote goes to Thunderhead, because honestly, Front of back? The experience is different throughout the train. Gwazi seems to lack alot of air time but I still love the experience the new trains give it.
Werner
I havený been on many of the GCI mentioned here. Here is my GCI list: George and the Dragon, Troy, Lightning Racer, Wildcat and Gwazi( Tiger not Lion ;( )  I have to say, the best airtime i got on George and the Dragon: water side. -Edge of Beast-
Prowler wins, hands down. Ozark Wildcat is a close second though, it provides some hops near the end. But on Prowler, you can get tons of floater, occasionally ejector.
The Yeti
I've ridden Prowler, Gwazi, and Ozark Wildcat. I'd probably say Prowler. It was mostly pops of airtime, but there were a lot for how quick the ride is. I think Gwazi used to be great...maybe it's just because I was younger, or the ride was smoother, but I really enjoyed it. I rode it last year and liked it, but I really don't think the new trains made the ride that much better. Â How has nobody mentioned Knight Valley in China? That ride looks insane, and looks like it would have some good air! With how long the ride is, it has to have the most.
coasterbear30
I've ridden: Lightning Racers-both sides Gwazi-both sides (old and new trains) Kentucky Rumbler Roar west Thunderhead Wildcat  I think that Thunderhead in the first two seats takes the cake on all of them with Roar west being a second. Thunderhead has a ton of airtime and is my fav GCI and 3rd fav wood coaster overall.
MrSum1_55
I have only ridden Wildcat, Roar West, Apocolator, and Lightning Racer. Â And you will never guess which one I thought had the most airtime: Â Wildcat. Â What the hell happened!? When I rode this, I was getting airtime on just about every hill! If it were as smooth as Lightning Racer, I might even rank Wildcat above it. What was going on? I should note that the one ride I had was the only ride I had. It was later in the day, and there was no rain that day. However, it was raining all night the previous night, as well as most of the previous day. I am not sure what was going on here... Â Has anyone else gotten a ride like this?
triggernel
-Love for Renegade, only one that I've ever gotten Ejector. -Prowler had some good pops last year during night ERT. -Thunderhead is also quite good.
cal1br3tto
^^Not me! I'm a bit confused as to why I've had a different experience on Wildcat than many (most?) people. I rode in August 2011, mostly in the back row, including several times during night ERT, on a hot day with heavy rain. I felt no airtime (I know it had a lot with PTCs, but I'm sure I've heard it still does), and I also didn't find it painful (again, I'm positive I've heard it confirmed as rough in recent times). I wouldn't pin it as a perception issue because, although I am quite tolerant of rough coasters, it's certainly a characteristic I notice, and rarely appreciate. historyfreak92
I really really really like both of the ones in Pennsylvania which are Lightning Racer, & Wildcat at Hersheypark!
chickenbowl
Thunderhead wins overall, front seat during ERT was insane. Apocalypse comes in second for the first drop in the back seat.
VF15
Renegade probably doesn't have most airtime out of all the GCI woodies, but the airtime it does have it really good, especially when you sit it the last row . There are a few times where Renegade's first airtime hill caused some slight discomfort in my thighs. I have also ridden Ozark Wildcat, and I don't remember that much about it since it was a long time ago, but based on the POV, it looks like it has some solid airtime moments. Â Speaking of Ozark Wildcat, another park really ought to buy that coaster and relocate it because letting a good GCI woodie sit dormant is sinful. Mater
I've only been on one outside of California, but I'm pretty confident regardless that it's Gold Striker.
rolercstrluvr
I've only been on one outside of California, but I'm pretty confident regardless that it's Gold Striker. Â I agree with this all the way, best GCI i've ever been on.
Woodie Warrior
American Thunder. Amazing ride with pop after pop of airtime.
glucky11801
For me it's Gold Striker. My butt was off the seat so many times every ride. For me, the front row was perfection!

gerstlaueringvar
American Thunder is the winner for me. Â Can't believe I haven't been on Wood Coaster which is like 1.5 hours from my home!
DoinItForTheFame
I have been on so many GCI coasters that I have lost count. Â However all of the GCI coasters I have been on were MANY years ago... but here is what I remember. Â Lighting Racer was an AMAZING coaster. I loved the first drop, and all of the twist, and turns. I can NOT wait to get back out to the park and ride it again. Â Ozark Wildcat - A GREAT coaster with an awesome mix of airtime and lat G's. I can only hope that Herschend will move the coaster to SDC. I am sure they can make that happen.
805Andrew
Of the ones that I've ridden probably Gold Striker. I think I counted 12 or 13 moments of airtime during the ride, compared to 6 or 7 for Apocalypse. I don't remember how many moments of airtime Lightning Racer had and if it was more than Gold Striker, but I really like the racing/dueling aspect of the ride.
