itsme102 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Very cool. I'm really excited to get an impulse close to home. I really like the logo, as well.
Team Thriller Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Just makes the park look 5 times better
Axman Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Impressive as usual for Cedar Fair. Having been at Dorney 3 summers ago, I feel like an impulse coaster will really benefit this park. This will be one of their more intense rides hte park has to offer, and the artwork looks excellent!
Homer Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Bravo CF, at least you didn't use Steel Venom again.
PKI Jizzman Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Wow, that's a sweet logo! I hope the colors will be black and orange or something freaky-sick like that.
CoasterEricHP Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 That's awesome! Great name! Hopefully they'll make it run like new.. I rode it before it closed at GL and it was BAD! Felt like the motors weren't really catching the train and the brake that holds you (pleaseeee remove that!) would grab hold and the train would start slipping.
KGA29 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Love the artwork! Wonder what the colors will be
pkdcoaster Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 IMO Very cool name and logo! BUT I am sure somebody will find offense in it since it is a religion so to speak. I mean come on, Banshee was taken back JEFF
coasterdude5 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Looks great, I'm also glad they didn't reuse the Steel Venom name.
YoshiFan Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Probably part of the reason they didn't use SV was because of Steel Force
coasterguy618 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Wow, that logo is sick. I am really excited for this impulse...but I doubt its better than Wicked Twister.
KGA29 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 IMO Very cool name and logo! BUT I am sure somebody will find offense in it since it is a religion so to speak. I mean come on, Banshee was taken back JEFF SFDK has a top spin named Voodoo.
Loco Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I love the name. I've always wanted to see a coaster named Voodoo.
Shavethewhales Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 IMO Very cool name and logo! BUT I am sure somebody will find offense in it since it is a religion so to speak. I mean come on, Banshee was taken back JEFF I doubt it. CF was wrong to give into such foolishness back then, but I don't think they'll fall for it again this time around. Besides, if anyone wants to complain, they should start with the frightfests.
Airtime&Gravity Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Wow, cool logo and name, and I'm happy that it won't be Steel Venom like I predicted. This should really help Dorney as their coaster selection seems..how do I say it...Cedar fairish, and with it being the only impulse on the east coast, they can have some good marketing.
yankees15 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 ^I still think they should market it as Pennsylvania's tallest launch coaster. It's not saying much, but the general public will think that is impressive.
Darien Laker Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 That's a good name for a ride like that. I too thought it was going to be another SV, but someone on the last page brought up a good point about Steel Force probably being the reason for the new name.
DarkStitch626 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 If you view in concept the track made from horns is Yellow..and surrounding is a deep rich purple..maybe those are the colors?
coasterdude5 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 At first the logo reminded me alot of Medusa until I looked a bit closer to see that it was different.
Tanks4me05 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Hmmm, Voodoo. I'm not so sure about the name, but hey, at least DP's getting an Impulse. Definitely an original name.
Coasterlvr_nc Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 wow the logo looks pretty sweet. Same goes for the name, just as long as religious people dont get angry at the name like another incident at another park....
carolinacaniac Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I definatly love the name and logo. It deffinatly stuck on me a lot quicker than Behemoth did.
coasterbilly Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 yeah DP is doing a good job with this, I hope the colors will be unique too, totally defining itself from other rides in the park. I doubt people will be offended by it, it's the name of a ride, and the logo is one of the best in a while since Medusa in my opinion
