metrock
^I don't think Goliath at SFMM is really rated too highly... Â Well let me be the first to discredit what little hype it does get by saying its lame. "It's lame". Â Goliath may not be the best coaster out there, but it is far from lame. I mean, if Goliath is lame, then that would mean at least 95% of all coasters in the world are "lame." To me, and no offense, anyone who thinks Goliath is lame is just spoiled. For example, check out what these people have to settle for - http://www.authorstream.com/Presentation/aspey-189551-disney-al-estilo-cubano-castrista-entertainment-ppt-powerpoint/
ReelBigFish419
Hmm... overrated, overrated. I'm gonna go with Superman: Ultimate Flight on this one. It may not be rated to highly among the coaster community but the GP sure do seem to love it, for whatever reason that might be. Â Oh wait, now that I think about it. I'm gonna go with Sheikra. Fun ride yes. Worth the wait it gets sometimes, no.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Playland's Corkscrew aka the "red roller coaster" sitting at the back of the park. The GP love it because it's "the only upside down roller coaster in the park" (park only has 3 anyways). Me, I've ridden it so many times and it's not even that exciting, not to mention it's geting rougher and rougher every year. Another reason the GP are so crazy about it is because (especially the older generation) they think it's the rollercoaster from World Expo 86. Corkscrew did NOT come from 86, it was relocated from Boblo Island.
pkd freak
Whatever the coaster ends up being at KD for next year. Â There's always a h8ter learking within... Â XLC, when it was up and operating.
fisher1095
Hulk. The launched Zero-G is really cool, but the rest of the ride is on the verge of boring. I still can't believe it's in the world's top 40 coasters. My riding buddies also agreed it wasn't as fun as it was hyped up to be, but I think Hulk is one of those 'rite of passage' coasters. The ones that just about everyone has ridden.

Dietcokevan
Overrated... hmmm.... Goliath (SFMM) its liked by the GP, its got fan boys, *cough* CreditCrazy *cough* Atem I think your cough is contagious, but its only got one real part that makes me want to keep riding it, the helix. Easily the best part of the ride. Goliath also pretty nice speed, but its sadly ruined by the MCBR . But Goliath lacks in some areas, it's drop is rather "weak",tall, yes, steep, no, hell the lift is almost has steep as the drop. It also lacks what California lacks the most, airtime, its got SOME airtime, but not that much. Goliath is a decent/respectable ride, but it just doesn't live up to the "hyper" hype (lame pun was intended) like when I think hyper I think of airtime and turns, rides like Bizarro, Goliath has one but not the other. redfoot12
Whatever the coaster ends up being at KD for next year. Â There's always a h8ter learking within... Â Â ^ Pretty sure it was a joke. Â While it's mostly a joke I've seen people already predicting that it will be the best coaster ever. Let's at least wait until an announcement and for vertical construction to begin before we start crowning it. Living 20 minutes away, I obviously hope it lives up to some of the expectations fans are already putting on it. This is the type of coaster KD has needed for a long time so I definitely want it to succeed!

coolcalicoaster
^I have heard quite a few people say they weren't impressed with Terminator. I hear its a fun ride but nothing more than a typical GCI. I know it gets a little extra hype being that its at SFMM. I will reserve my judgement until I ride it later this year.

I can agree that it's overblown, since it's the first major ride in the park you get to, looks great in the park and you can see it everywhere, and it's an ok ride. Overrated, yes, but not the most.  I still think The Beast is the most overrated. People throw around this concept that it was the best best best ever and it's crazy awesome, but even at night, it's a a B+ coaster, not an A+ people say it is. haux
I don't know if I've posted this before, but Montu does it for me. It's such an impressive looking coaster, and it did nothing for me. I got one ride in and just went back to Kumba and rode that the rest of the day.  Montu's elements seemed too spaced apart. The brake before the batwing killed what probably would have been the highlight of the ride. Then after that killjoy, the block brake practically stops you. The second half of the ride was a bore because we crawled through the elements. Totally forceless.  I don't like hangtime on inverted coasters. I don't like forceless inverted coasters. Montu was filled with that after the first brake. I'd love to go back and try it again, but I don't know when that will be.
Maverickrocks
^Yeah, Montu gets so much praise but I just don't get it. Very little force and I didn't really feel the speed like on some of the other inverts I've been on. The highlights of the ride were the smoothness and scenery/theming. Â Maybe it's just a front seat ride? I rode in the back and twice in the middle, prehaps I didn't get the full effect.

cinciDAWGS12
For me the coaster I was most disappointed in was Nitro. I was really expecting a LOT more airtime than what was there. However, just the fact that it was that tall and fast made it a better ride!

Anyway, another overrated coaster would probably be the Incredible Hulk. Fun ride yes, but it gets old, boring and just plain painful after a while. some random guy
mummy at USF is overrated to me. i love it but its way too short to get the hype that it gets but then again its suppose to be a exprience but then again at the end o the day its still just a coaster
LiveForTheLaunch
The biggest disappointment for me was Kentucky Rumbler. I had heard great things about it, and it looked very good from photos and POV's, but then I rode it and it was just a bunch of fast turns, and not much airtime. The first drop was good, but the rest of the ride was whack.
