Team Thriller Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Great NEWS!!! I'll be looking forward to this. I always wanted to go to Everland.
Gutterflower Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 http://blog.naver.com/fl0621/80044920039 Hey all another new update. it includes a nice graphic of the ride about halfway down which clears up a few bits of confusion i had about the first half of the ride.
Shockwave Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Thanks for the link! This ride is just looking better and better everyday! According to RCDB, the ride will be called "T Express". The "T Express" name comes from the ride's sponsor T World, Korea's largest wireless phone company. http://rcdb.com/id3938.htm
Absimilliard Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What's the ride they're adding next to Rolling X Train? According to the drawings on the construction walls, it looks like a Top Scan... should be interesting!
Wes Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 They should keep those green tarp thingies up. It almost gives the coaster a cartoony feel. This thing looks ridiceltits.
SharkTums Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I would just like to remind everyone that TPR will be going back to Korea in September!!!! Right between the China and Japan trips. Interested??? Come join us!!! THAT THING LOOKS AMAZING!!!!
coastercrazed49 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What do you get when you breed to intamin woodies together? An amazing Intamin woodie or at least what we hope. That looks so amazing to bad Korea is so far away.
Absimilliard Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Would love to join you again Elissa! I'm going back to South Korea in april/may and I'm looking for someplace to go in september... Did you figure the dates for Korea yet?
Airtime&Gravity Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 This thing is going to look amazing when it opens due to its size and location. I'm sure this will be the new world's number one coaster, and if it runs how it looks, there will be a lot of airtime. I really hope more of these are built in the states as they are simply great coasters.
SharkTums Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 September 13 - 16. Two park days (14th and 15th). Email me for more details!
Gutterflower Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Not a massive update today but a few close ups and work continues on the 2nd and 3rd hills as well as what looks like a new ice rink for 2008 http://blog.naver.com/fl0621/80045362240
downunder Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Looks like El Baldero, R & E and many others might have a new # 1 come Mitch Hawker time next year.
Loefet Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 New update from the 14:th posted today!! http://blog.naver.com/fl0621/80045960775 This thing really look massive, but comparing the progress with the image below you can clearly see that its much left, and also the turn after the first airtime hill doesn't go as far down as on the model. Bring on September.
alpengeist04 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Damn you US parks!!! We need another Intamin woodie in 09'.
Tanks4me05 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Ok, now that I see the true size of this thing, I can say that I am looking forward to this ride opening.
ParkTrips Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 man, if I can get a deal under $1000 I'd consider flying over there, even if it would be 2 absurd 15 hour flights within a couple days. That looks too awesome, I should look at this thread more often!!
CP_RULES Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 The turn in that second pic looks like it will have some insane positives! This coaster is looking better and better with every update. Cant wait to see a POV (I'll never get to ride it).
Buddy johnson Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 It's opening soon, upcoming March. and I got there!! yesterday.. They invited me to show around// It just looks much more complicated inside than they are.. there's a lot going on there.
ginzo Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Damn you US parks!!! We need another Intamin woodie in 09'. Yes! I have no expectation to get several Intamin woodies in the US, but we need more than 1. With all the woodies that are going up, can't we get a few more?
DBru Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Do Intamin woodies cost much more that others? I know El Toro was about $12 million, which is a little steep, but then again, how much more has the Voyage been retracked? I bet all of that rehab isn't cheap.......
Loefet Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 New update from the 24:th posted earlier today. The lift-hill structure is almost complete. The drop after the first air-time hill looks to be really great. There seems to be some kind of MCBR before the "Balder-like" section, but the airtime you will get from riding back row might be really awesome. I hosted an overall image from the page, due to it was running slow. Link: http://blog.naver.com/fl0621/80046330972
TexTitan01 Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007  wow...that looks RAVISHING. I totally have reason to join in on a Tokyo-Korea trip now! except maybe not...because i am poor anyways, that looks like so much track! I bet this coaster will be the one that makes every other park GM say "damn...we need one of those..." PnPs are hopefully to be the new SLCs! except minus the pain
CP_RULES Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 HOLY CRAP! How long is this thing supposed to be?
