I would have the scrambler cars spin when they swing out.

Create a drop ride where you lay on your stomach face down so you can see the ground coming at you

Turn the seats around on the pirate ship to face the outside

Create the flying bobs so it would go fast enough where the cars go parallel to the group and add music speakers to each car

Have an enterprise with seats next to each other instead of sitting in each others laps

Add a real roof to the gravitron (instead of the trap most carnivals use) and have it go up like a round up

I absolutely love all of these ideas. Intamin and Busch Gardens Tampa are one step ahead of you on that drop tower, though!

Turn Leviathan's brake run into a MCBR and add something after it, like a goliath (SFOG)-style helix and some small airtime hills like you see on nitro before the end. I'm not sure but from a couple of videos and photos Dragon Fire's lift hill seems smaller then Leviathan's brake run, which is ridiculous.

I would get rid of the "No Snapping" policy that is sadly found on so many flying scooter rides. I understand why parks have that rule, though...

As for an actual ride modification, I would love to see an S&S space shot with seats that flip. I feel like they were experimenting with that at some point, or at least tilting seats, but I don't think 360 degree rotation has ever been done.

Throw some theming and innovation at the tunnels on some of the coasters at the Cedar Fair parks (Leviathan, Magnum & Millennium Force to name a few) similar to coasters we see overseas.

Using culvert pipe looks silly and doesn't add a whole lot to the ride experience nor the aesthetics of the coaster....oh, and bring the fog and strobe lighting back to Magnum too!

I second this al the way, I mean it is understandable why parks have it in place as it scares them.

But if I could modify any ride, i'd have to go with Flight Deck at CGA and have a figure 8 helix finale over the lake. Still keep the helixes tight and forceful, just add some more length to the ride.

Get rid of all the Chinese knockoffs

Get rid of all trims on B&Ms that serve no purpose other than to make the ride less extreme (and I mean in non deadly force areas)

Fix the theming in Mavericks tunnel and add the new Intamin Looper trains with lap bars (or I305 like trains)

Restore I305 original first turn

Add something after Volcanos big drop into the breaks (maybe a hill or a helix)

Fix Volcanos messy station (hopefully happening this year)

Iron Horse Mean Streak (or tear it out and put a better wooden coaster in its place)

Put a new coaster in the abandoned Old Country area at SFGADV

Restore Revolution at SFMM

I have many more but I'll leave it at that.

I long for the day The Beast can run trimless or at least a reduction in trims. If this requires running 2-bench trains instead of three and a reduction of capacity from 36 to 28 riders per train, I'm okay with that. Even just tweaking some of the banking and profiling to handle more stress would be appreciated. The Beast could be right back in the discussion as one of the very top wooden coasters once again without those trims.

As for Maverick, all I ask is that the reduce the second launch speed just slightly so they do not have to trim it on the hill following the launch. Feeling a slowdown like that just after a launch is kind of a buzzkill. Other than that, Maverick is virtually a perfect coaster in my opinion.

The Beast ALWAYS had trims in the same spots. You just feel it more now that they are magnetic. The coaster travels the same speed as it did prior to the magnetic brakes.

-I'd change that one part on T2 that's after the lift hill, but before the brake run. You know, that part that sucks.

I'd love to ride Skyrush with the Millennium Force trains and I'd love to ride Revolution with lap bars. I'll go with those two.

The trains on SkyRush are what make that ride better than Millennium Force. Millennium Force trains would ruin SkyRush.

I know trims have been a part of The Beast since opening. I have no problem with the midcourse since it's probably a block, but the other trims really put a damper on things. But just imagine how insane The Beast would be without trims on those major hills and small hill following the first drop. Nothing on this thread said we couldn't wish to modify things a coaster has had since day one.

In the early 2000s they slapped 45-degree tilting seats on Volcanic Impact at Fantasy Island in the UK. I'm pretty sure that the seats stopped actually tilting several years ago.

I would restore the double down on Colossus as the MCBR is painful and takes out so much speed for really no reason, since SFMM only operates two trains at a time.

Smooth out the brakes on GASM at SFOG

Carolina Cobra style Gen-2 trains for Ninja at SFOG

Takabisha style drop for Dare Devil Dive (but at 122 degrees )

Iron Horse-ify Georgia Cyclone, complete with batshit insane inversions and loads of

Remove the trim on Goliath at SFOG (not sure what effect it has, but trims are bad. unless they help you survive otherwise lethal elements)

Smooth out the brakes on Mind Bender (that is the only change that should ever be made to that ride)

I would increase the speed on Radiator Springs Racer to get some air time over those hills and some better g's in the banked turns.

Total retrack of Gorgia Cyclone (great idea of Iron Horsing it!),

Completely redo the theming and landscape for dahlonega mine train.

Blow SFOG Ninja up (who rides it anyway???) and replace with a launched wing rider themed to air force jets (station and launch area could be themed to an aircraft carrier since it's on the water!) better yet, TWO dueling wing riders. Now that would be something!

Update the theming and special effects on Blazin' Fury , fix the track to be smoother and bring back the splashdown.

Lower the zero g roll on Wild Eagle just a bit. Is it just me, or does it seen to take it way to slow? Whatever the case there is almost some hang time depending which seat you're in, no zero gs!

It would also be nice if Mystery Mine could get the other style of euro fighter trains-not the ones like dare devil dive, but the floor less ones that only have lap bars. Live that ride but the head banging on the restraints ( especially the first helix) is awful.

Finally, make TN Tornado not have such an abrupt ending. It still has so much unused energy when it leaps onto the brake run. Maybe do a double corkscrew followed by an upward helix
